I just lost my dear cat my little feline son Magus on February 17, 2021 Wednesday he had a tumor leading to blood in lungs causing labored breathing then congestive heart failure. Vet tried to save him but couldn't so recommended euthanasia so I agreed. I just got his ashes and paw print today he was only 5-6 years old. Got him as a stray in June 2016 vet said then he was a year to year and half old. It hurts so much. The many more happy years I thought I'd have with him won't be now. But I hope to see him again one day.

Oh Marissa, he was taken so young. ;( God apparently needed him. Hold on the the good memories. When I lost my brother about 25 years ago it was really tough. I believe, however, that God used my brother's death to give me the empathy to be able to write songs that can now help other people. I do hope my music will be a blessing to you. Oh Marissa, I understand how you must feel but know that God has a wonderful plan for your life! You will see Jacob again one day... Ask God to help ease the pain of your loss. He sees your tears and He will hear your prayers. In addition to losing my own brother some 25 years ago, I also lost my Mom just last September. There is a book I've recently read that might help you. It's called "My Time In Heaven" by Sigmund Richard. I highly recommend it. It's written by a preacher who died in a freak car accident who was allowed to tour Heaven for 8 hours. He was told by Jesus to come back and tell people about Heaven, and to give us the message that Jesus loves us and that He is coming for us soon. It's the most descriptive book about Heaven that I've ever read! This book has brought me great comfort in knowing and better understanding the glory and splendor of where my Mother and Brother are. Maybe try creating a scrapbook with photos of your brother as a tribute, write a poem about him, or start a diary and write down all of the wonderful memories you had with him. My first Christian song, "Don't Cry for Me", actually started as a poem! You can then reflect on your creation in the future and this may help you to heal. I'll be praying for you. Libby
