Yo no diría tanto como quitar a Robin sino simplemente ir configurando a un personaje cada vez más interesado por el bien común, e ir relegando a Marian a un segundo plano de su vida, con la consecuente decepción de ella hacia él y esa vida altruista. Me imagino a una Marian orgullosa de él. Que lo admira y lo aprecia pero que el amor que sentía por él se ha ido transformando en cariño y amistad. Al mismo tiempo ir dándose cuenta de lo bien que se siente con Gisburne. De lo pendiente que está de ella y su bienestar. De sentirse deseada, protegida, querida... Y, poco a poco, mientras siente que la vida que pretende forjar con Robin resulta más complicada de lo que pensaba (por vivir en el bosque, a la intemperie, compartiendo a Robin con sus amigos todo el tiempo, sin poder tener intimidad, chocando y discrepando entre ambos, etc), al mismo tiempo ir notando una atracción cada vez mayor hacia Gisburne, una compenetración que ya no siente con Robin. Y todo ello ir convirtiéndose progresivamente en un amor rotundo y profundo. La serie, desde luego, sería otra. Mucho más adulta y fascinante.
