The clip of the Claidheamh mór's extended charge where he circled around the big rock on hightower was from a "x100" server. I can explain x100 another time but for now, I just want to point out that the extended charge has been re-added, but under normal circumstances; it has never -and will never be as long as in that one clip. Sidenote: I see a lot of people pointing out that the Iron Bomber's projectiles have larger hitboxes than the others. This is true, but it's not nearly as broken as people make it out to be. Basically, if you can aim pipes, this will help you hit maybe ~3.5%? more pipes than with the regular grenade launcher.. But if you can't hit the broadside of dustbowl then this difference will not help you in the slightest. Like, not even a bit. (Sources: Toofty, Zesty Jesus, Shounic.) [+Thousands of hours of personal experience.]

@@theduckgoesmoo Well, on the bright side: this can still be done on x10/ x100 servers. You just need 3 weapons. 1. The Bootlegger/ Wee Booties. 2. The Splendid Screen. 3. The Claidheamh Mór. x10/ x100 amplifies all weapon stats by whatever number follows the x. Mostly. Stock weapons don't have stats so they have other strange properties like extreme increased firing speed or the likes. These servers are found in the community server browser. Which looks very outdated and complicated but basically, search for tags in the tags field, search for maps in the map field. The RCE exploit recently made public by the secret club has been patched so these servers are once again entirely safe to connect to.

Something worth noting since I haven't seen anyone else mention it. When SoundSmith or pretty much anyone else mentions 'competitive players' they don't mean the competitive queue built into the game, nobody plays that. What they're referring to are 3rd party community run competitive leagues that operate through external browser based matchmaking. These organizations existed *long* before Valves dumpster fire attempt at competitive matchmaking and both casual and competitive players generally still recognize these external leagues as "Official" TF2 competitive.

Fun fact, the claid mor got reverted so you can charge for 2 seconds instead of 1.5 seconds, also the loose cannon can double donk if it hits a enemy and shortly after explodes and you can hold left click to decrease the amount of time it takes to explode, if you do so for too long it becomes the beggers and allows mid air jumps.

Hey so kyle, When Soundsmith made that Joke about the claidheamh mor at 14:00, the Charge for it was never THAT long, he was playing in a 10x server where the weapons stats are multiplied by 10 and the guns are either godtier or utter garbage, the claidheamh mor in that case, basically gives you infinite charge so yeah...

-Rollers are when a grenade rolls on the ground if you miss the shot. - the Loch and Load was changed, now it's less effective against players and more effective against engineer buildings. -The B.A.S.E. Jumper is a parachute for soldier and demo. -i believe the Chargin Targe shield got nerfed, so usually it's no longer the shield that is seen the most and instead the Tide Turner is the most commonly seen shield. And as usual, generic comment about the comics goes here somewhere.

ulapool caber got nerfed just after the update in 2015(sorry if i forget the update name) the caber was overpowered and a threat to all snipers, and engineers. if you want to make it better... just use demoknight with the caber (use the splendid screen for higher damage)

The item rank (New rank) is just a rank when you get kills with a strange weapon (The glowing ones) if you reach a specific amount kills your weapon gets a higher rank, nothing special all visual and just to show off your kills. Your mvm weapons that you unlocked have these features since theyre strange.

There is people who play demoman normally and there is people who use quicky-launcher as their primary weapon, never use grenade launcher, only sticky spam.

loch-n-load deals 20% more damage and the pills move 25% faster, but they go away if they touch any surface, 25% smaller blast radius, and only 3 shots in the clip iron bomber shoots pills that don't bounce or roll as much and a 15% smaller blast radius, but they have a 30% shorter fuse time, allowing you to basically lay landmine time bombs loose cannon shoots cannon balls that move 20% faster have a 1 second fuse, and while the explosion does 40% less damage, it has 2 unique mechanics to it, first you can hold down mouse1 to cook the cannon balls and take some of the time off of the fuse (just don't hold for too long or you will blow yourself up), and you use this to help with it's other mechanic which is 'double donks', the cannon ball will do damage on impact, knocking the enemy back, and it's explosion, if you hit the same enemy with both impact and explosion, it will do a double donk and mini crit, so you want to time the explosion by cooking it so you can hit them with the explosion before they're knocked away from it by the impact ali baba's wee booties give 25 more health, 10% speed if you also have a shield, triple turn control with chargin' targe and splendid screen, increase overheal to 300, and give 25% charge meter on kill quickiebomb launcher shoots bombs that are armed 0.2 seconds quicker and charge up 70% faster, but deal 15% less damage and have half the clip size, this one is more of a long range launcher scottish resistance fires bombs faster, can have six more bombs deployed at a time (14), and you can detonate specific ones instead of all of them at once, but the bombs take longer to prime (1.5 seconds), make it more of a defensive launcher chargin' targe gives 50% fire resistance and 30% explosive resistance (btw, the notification in the clip for this appear because that chargin' targe was a strange one, which you can 'rank up' by using it) splendid screen gives only 20% fire and explosive resistance, but deals 70% more damage with the ram and recharges 50% faster tide turner gives full control while charging and any kills will give back 75% of meter, but it only gives 15% fire and explosive resistance, taking damage while charging while shorten the charge (1 damage=1%), and it will only give mini crits while charging instead of crits eyelander will decrease your health by 25, but each kill will give you 15 health (bringing your health up to 210) and 8% movement speed (which let's you move slightly slower then scout at max heads) scotsman's skullcutter, unlike the swords, can deal random critical hits and deals 20% more damage, but you move much slower with it active (slower then everyone except heavy) claidheamh mor has changed back to partially what it used to be since this video came out, each kill gives 25% percent of charge meter (making it 100% with tide turner), charging with it increases charge duration, but you'll take 15% more damage while holding it fun fact, claidheamh mor was the first strange weapon I got persian persuader refills 20% charger meter per hit and ammo pickups also refill charge meter, but your ammo is reduced by 80%, making this weapon purely for demoknight ullapool caber will explode on the first hit with it, damaging the user and everyone around them, and you're left with the exploded grenade afterwards which is not too good, with only respawning and the supply locker being the only things that give it back the explosive

The claid got reverted somewhat, it now has +0.5 charge duration but instead of lower health you have less resitance when active so you can get one shot by headshots, it's pretty bad (altough I have a strange professional killstreak tiger buffed one with awarpaint so I'm obliged to use it)

@@draforgg5594 the thing is if you want to take advantage of the longer charge duration you HAVE to have it out meaning that using it for escapes, or even engaging makes you take a lot more damage since you're effective health against bullets is less than 150, I love the claid to death but it's just not all that good. You can do some stuff where you pipe before a shield bash while abusing the recharge bug since you gain 100% of your charge but you're practically robbing yourself an extra 15 health amd the abilty to move as fast as a baby face scout

In my opinion, Claidheamh Mòr is just how Demoknight should be. It forces you to be smart about your actions unlike the Demo equivalent of w+m1 Eyelander encourages.
