A lot of people actually didn't liked how she died and thought that was a random bs. It was actually the point. That we don't actually know when and how Death will come. Even to people that are dying of illness, people don't exactly know when, so there are no grand farewells just before they go out, like in other movies. One of the lessons was to live your days to the fullest, because it might be your last.

this dude is the best character i have ever seen it makes me aggressive how you can hate a character in the beginning without knowing his motivations. you should also learn a bit about the behavior of the japanese to the scene at the beginning with the bicycle: the japanese don't like to get involved in foreign affairs it's just a different culture and if you do that you're looked at strange and that's why the japanese are afraid of ,, to lose face"

regarding the scene in the bedroom when she says she wanted to be with someone she doesn't feel anything for him and then walks away pretending it's a joke. This scene is a little deeper than it seems, she did that to test herself if she really didn't feel anything for him since at that moment she was a little confused, because as she herself says, at first she approached him not to look for a friend or a boyfriend simply as part of another of her wishes, but when she tried she realized that she was really in love with him and she couldn't do it.

They dont get his character, and they dont have to but rhe amount of talking down about him. "Stop being depressing." Is not an easy thing to do. They definitely haven't experienced anything like what he's going throughout before. Must be nice to be happy all the time. I'm glad he finally learned something that made him himself in the end. I was watching this in theaters and I would like to share a bit of personal information. At 40:58 when you see the contents of her bag, I found myself at a loss of words. Not because of the circumstances (we knew), but because of the accuracy of this movie. I am dependent on the device shown in the bag and I knew exactly what it is. It's actually perfectly accurate. This looks exactly like an insulin pump, used to provide your body with hormones (usually provided by the pancreas) to digest/break up sugar (-> diabetes). So I give the writers high praise on actually researching and showing what it means. These medications and utensils are real!

I just want to say that the world is not black and white. I've known someone who tries to be the good guy everytime, helping people outside of his business. Then one day those people he offended were actually part of a gang, the ending? Him getting stabbed on his way back home. There are times you should help, but that doesn't mean you should be the hero and throw away rationality. If in the court yes you may won, but what if you don't even get to the court cause you get killed during the confrontation?

By having her death a surprise you feel like how all the high school would feel about her death. By having this boy have her will and know her sickness you feel how her friends would feel to know there was a secret. Doesn't every friend have a secret? I just read this manga and "Your Lie in April" and have never seen it. The visuals look good. The suggestions I have for Japanese would be "Golden Time" and "A Silent Voice" and "My Rainy Days" and "Paprika" and "Perfect Blue."

22:55 It is an age of coming story and Haruki is a boy in highschool who is not very mature enough yet to really understand the seriousness of death of someone not close to him (in manga, the art style does well to depict them you get as they seem in the anime), but later on he does care about it.

Ohh my god!!! I just watched an episode of a TV show I was everyday and it was today's episode and three people one them was a pretty prominent character has just died and I couldn't even believe at first then sobbed the whole time and then I watched this movie and I almost started it with tears bcuz firstly watched the other shows that episode and now it started with a funeral ahhh and after going through the whole movie and Sakura And the boy (we didn't even learnt the name. Did we!!?) Their journey's and then her getting murdered ahhhhh I feel heavy wanna cry more. But this was an amazing movie, the massages it had was great. It just left me broken. Hello Suzy lu and Steejo I'm glad I and so many others suggested this movie for you to react to. Suzy your Christmas dress looks amazing on you, very pretty. I identify with this movie a bit, my pancreas doesn't work, I've been diabetic for about 30+ years now. If you noticed in her medication bag she had an insulin pump. I've had a pump for at least 14 years now. In 2006 I had to have a kidney transplant and I also had a pancreas transplant at the same time. Unfortunately the pancreas developed a blood clot after 4 days so it had to be removed. My wife helps me keep on track with my condition, so I've been very fortunate. I also cry when I watch this movie, I purchased my own copy after I watched it on KZbin. It was up for a few days and then KZbin took it off. I loved it so much I had to get a copy for myself. I hope you will react to Your Lie In April anime series and the movie The Garden of Words that has Mizuha's teacher from Your Name in it and the animation is beautiful, it looks amazing. I've recently been watching your reactions to Death Note from a couple of years ago, very enjoyable. I need to catch your reactions to Baruto, so many things to watch. Another Ghibli movie I'd love for you to watch is The Secret World of Ariety. A beautiful movie with an interesting story. I hope you both enjoy your Christmas 🎄 and have a wonderful New Year. The title - indeed, the whole movie - basically was the result of a bet. It was originally a novel before becoming a manga and then this anime. The novel's author had been chatting to a friend over a drink or similar, and during their conversation made the point that anything at all - an object, a location, a sentence - can be imbued with emotion if put into the right context. The friend replied along the lines of "Oh yeah? Well, I bet you can't take something like, say, 'let me eat your pancreas', and make someone cry with that." So he did.

The reality of death and pain associated with it prevail throughout the movie. And, it just showcases how unfair and uncertain life is. The only positive is the protagonist did not let fate's unpredictability discourage him from making a positive change for himself. The End..
