I'm also excited for it but cautiously so. I've been a fan of the Monsterverse since 2014, pretty much grew up with the franchise since it's conception and so I won't lie and say that I do miss the more grounded approach the earlier films have. I'll welcome the more outlandish story GxK is telling for now though, as the Godzilla franchise as a whole has had more crazy stories in it's almost 70 year run that would make GxK look tame in comparison. I only hope that it will just be a good movie.

Did we jump the shark at Ghidorah being an alien? Titans being hyper intelligent and have an interspecies hierarchy? Hollow Earth? Mechagodzilla? If it wasn’t then, it is now.

And I forgot to say apparently rumours are saying that another villain monster is supposed to be in it called shimu which is supposed to have ice powers but the rumours could be false so we have to wait and see 👍

I've also heard those rumors. I'm betting that it's probably true but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm looking forward to this and Godzilla looking like super Saiyan rose is kinda dope and Kong having a gauntlet is cool as well, with the baby that Kong will most likely adopt apparently that's skar king's son which if that's true then that will be interesting and I hope after this movie they make a son of Kong movie and a Godzilla 3 movie with another toho monster like megalon, gigan or biollante 👍

To be fair Godzilla has 2 solo movies and a show where Kong has 1 solo movie, a show, and 2 movies where Godzilla has equal to less screentime. So I think they’re pretty equal tbh. Then you have 3 comics about Godzilla and 1 about Kong.

I mean you can't really count the Hollow earth Iwi's as another secret civilisation since it's already established in the canon that the one's on skull island originated from hollow earth. And no one could attest they were the last of their kind because no one ever successfully traversed the H E before GvK. Honestly the arm just looks like a piece of armor, not something with wacky technology in it so I'm cool with that, the only things that kinda bug me are the new vehicles. Like, I understand they need something that doesn't exist in our world in order to justify why hollow earth wasn't being explored until now but I do have to say I wouldv'e loved to see some more...grounded design. Despite all that I am hyped as fuck.

While this is true the previous monsterverse movies have never done that. Even if it “was unfinished” it looks nowhere near as bad as this.

I can't stand the new Godzilla look... TERRIBLE! As for the running, I hope they run and jump into a bottomless pit!
