Sometimes it feels like I’m watching myself. I’m in college right now and I seriously go to class and then walk right back to my apartment. I don’t really talk to anyone in class or at my apartment (I have a roommate but she’s never here). It felt kind of weird at first, to be so anti-social, but honestly I feel fine with it. I love having time to myself for self-reflection and figuring out what really interests/inspires me. Maybe we’re both in a transitional period and that’s why it feels strange or maybe we just think it should feel strange because that’s what society tells us. Either way, I’ve loved seeing your personal growth over the years and it’s just really nice to see someone who feels the way I do. (Also this is totally random and off topic but Sweetener by Ariana Grande is so good and I totally recommend it lol)
@meganstardust6 жыл бұрын
I totally relate to this. I also just go to college, don't really talk to anyone and then go home lol. I've been thinking the exact same things about whether or not being this anti-social is strange or if it's just what society tells us to feel. But also, I've been becoming more and more okay with being alone. It's nice to see other people feel the same way.

Awww all we really ever want is connection. I can tell you’re being more open and raw and honest and vulnerable and I think that always helps to heal a person, because with vulnerability you get connection with others because others can relate to the truth, to your truth. It’s something that’s scary to do but practicing vulnerability about how we truly feel really allows us to be free. Do you ever start to disassociate with reality after being home alone for so long? The only human interaction I have is with my boyfriend, so when we broke up for about a week last year, I felt so alone to the point that I didn't feel real anymore. No...? Just me...? Ok
@rebecccarobin6 жыл бұрын
That's how I feel, too, like nothing I do matters. I admire how you're still able to prioritize your health and appear to be so put together. Like I can't bring myself to put on makeup or cook a normal meal for months because what's the point?
@tatiannaemily4746 жыл бұрын
@@rebecccarobin just keep moving, I was in a place like that before I met my now husband but I was living with my large family, where I never got out of the house but got lost in the noise of all my siblings (I looooooove my family and we get along so well, bbut it's so hectic having a large family that I felt I couldn't talk about my feelings bc itd bring the whole family down bc of me). I'm a social person but all my friends and relationships before would leave me bc my dreams didn't translate to my reality- no license, never leave the house, not going to college bc of my mental health. That kind of thing will never take away your potential and doesn't make you anything less whether you choose or don't choose to be that way. Now i'm in a better more active part of my life, and sometimes I feel like i'm SO absolutely busy and I don't want to leave the house until I remember that I had been there before and that wasn't right for me anymore. Things will get better and even if you feel that you aren't a contribution or feel unimportant remember that that's not true- mu husband saw past my fears and self isolation and saw potential and big dreams and passion and gave me opportunity to achieve things I never thought I could. You don't need a boyfriend to know you're self worth, it just happened to be what saved me. Take your time in healing yourself and in taking action, there is no rush. Do what feels good but don't always listen to what's 100% comfortable. Don't worry, you matter and you will make a great impact the way you were meant to in time. Just love yourself and have faith in yourself

Just one gals opinion: it’s good to talk things through. Be it vlogging or any other method, it’s good to talk about how you’re feeling and what’s going on. It helps you to work through stuff! So if you feel like you’re in a super rough spot and you don’t feel comfortable sharing that with the Internet, that’s totally understandable. But if you feel okay with sharing, it’s nice to do so... it reminds you that you aren’t alone and that you have a community of people supporting you :) have a good one.
