Only in the middle of 3 series that I would want to continue, though I've started a bunch that would never continue as my rule is to only continue a series if the first book I rate 4 stars or higher. I've discovered that I very much prefer stand alone books, my theory is that most people feel this way as they tend to prefer to grab a new book than continue a series if given the choice. At the very least I much prefer stand alone and that helps to know 😺🖤

Please finish throne of glass!! It is very heartbreaking but to see how all the characters come together, the hope at the end, the character development, and OMG THE FORESHADOWING. It’s entirely worth it and I’d love to see a blog of you re reading the series (bc as I said the foreshadowing is out of this world). And TID is out of this world amazing !! Also as an FYI you don’t really need to finish TMI. The next series , TDA, does a good job of telling you about all the relevant past events , so I honestly think if you can’t make it through it’s fine :)

i agree with what you said about the grishaverse i! i read it just because i wanted to read them before getting into six of crows and i didn't like them at all. every video on tiktok and every word i heard about it was a lie lol but six of crows and its sequel were actually good and the writing i feel got better chapter after chapter! and girl! i finished kingdom of ash yesterday night after months and months of not picking it up because i didn't want it to end and i just love it more now! i'm pretty sure i know what spoiler you're talking about but you have to read it 😭 i promise you it's so worth it omg especially because you see the character developement and especially because you said it's one of your favourite books!

Oh god this made me feel so much better I’m probably in the middle/started about 10 series. I read A discovery of witches and loved it but started A shadow of night and got about 100 pages in so far and abit bored 😂 I do intend to pick it back up again but it may be a while 😂😂 xx

You really should start making a reading journal. I have exactly the same problem where I read a book and then dont remember a single thing. Because of this Ive started making pages in a journal were I write my own synopsis of the book and break down what happened and also write down my thoughts so I can always go back and read that if I need a recap. It's also really fun to do as well since I make it look pretty and stuff haha

I'm in the middle of almost 150 series so please feel better!! I aspire to have only 27 ongoing series! Also Divergent was one of the biggest letdown series I've ever read so I definitely wouldn't recommend it as a priority

I read the the divergent series while playing Ruelle, Fleurie, The Score, Unsecret, Tommee Profitt 's song as a background. And i would say its kind of cool and literally feeling motivated to read it.

I've heard others say the same about A Discovery of Witches...the 1st is great but the 2nd is super slow. I'm in the middle of the 1st myself. Outlander...Oh My:) I'm in love with this series. I agree, the France storyline isn't my favorite but I will say, they don't stay in France long. They do go back to Scotland. Just fyi😉

I just recently finished the shadow and bone series and i agree with what you said! especially the second book, it hurt to read lol. The third book is better than the second though, and you get to learn a bit more about the darkling.

I’m finding it so hard to get the Death Note Black editions! I have 1, 5 and 6 but can’t find the others anywhere. I did try to order 2 and 3 at Waterstones but they said they aren’t available until Feb 2022 😅 didn’t realise they were more or less out of print when I tried to start collecting them!
