At age 7, Jaclyn was diagnosed with myopia - commonly known as nearsightedness. After her myopia was passed on to her daughters, she made it her mission to work on developing contact lenses for kids to help them-and the nearly 5 billion people projected to be myopic by 2050. Myopia is one of the largest eye health challenges of the 21st century and Jaclyn is working to change that.
