To me I think emerald tree skinks are one of the best investments reptiles! They are so personable and they are pretty much dogs. Plus captive bred goes for 250-300$. And the demand is there! Great video Adam!

I have one, "Little King Trash Mouth", that I love but we actually got him for free from a pet store that couldn't sell him. I think he is the sweetest little handsome guy there ever was! Have to say I'm quite fond of the frilly you've got there, and I love the Fiji Iguana, those colors and it's size are perfect. Cuban false chameleons are a dream reptile! Such cool creatures, it's absolutely because I've seen them due to Ed and Emily and Clint! I have a dumerils boa and they are awesome! Granted mine can be a grump during shed and he stays in shed for a while! But love and appreciate the species so much!

With the economy, and food prices the way they are probably the best investment reptile is the chicken. Even if you don't make money, they will save you money. They will eat your garbage, and turn them into food. Excess feeder bugs, the chickens love them, and turn them into food.

As much as this post is probably somewhat satire, it's kinda true. I mean you can easily lose money with chickens if they all die or you don't manage them well. But, you can easily make them financially sound. (My family raises chickens for eggs). Common mistakes: not controling disease, not preventing predator attacks, & choosing wrong breed.

You should watch Green Room Python's KZbin videos on the handleability of green pythons. They were in the Suriname and Dav was also on the trip, interesting stuff. Your boy may also just be traumatized beside being full of parasites, what the wild caught snakes go through before they get to the US and Canada is pretty sad. I'm glad this one was bought by you as I know you will take good care of him.

Another great video Adam! I wonder what your thoughts are on red eye crocodile skinks. I recently picked up a pair. Most of what I saw were wild caught, so I’m hoping to help make captive bred ones available to everyone. They’re really easy to care for. They don’t need special lighting, don’t need high heat, don’t need a huge enclosure, and any kid who’s into dragons or dinosaurs would be stoked to have one of these things! Like you said, I’m not trying to get rich, but if I can fill a void in the hobby and make a couple of bucks while I’m at it, it’s gotta be a good thing, right?

I think Amazon trees might take off a little bit better than they have especially if Jeremy keeps putting out content. Hes really diving in and has helped me a huge amount already. That said i think a crazy morph might need to pop up to jump start it but i do think they will hold strong at the 200 to 1k price point for a decent cbb

I don't know how you excluded blue tongue skink morphs out of this list. It would be more for Europe and Asia, but even America is now developing hypermels, albinos, whites and more! 1000% on #1….CBB Chondros and ETBs are blowing up right now. And to be quite honest, these animals are very much handleable with some work. Some wild caught specimens are even super chill. My USCBB ETB is an absolute GEM. Highly recommend CBB for ETBs if you can find them.
