OMG, I would love to come and visit that area. I am fascinated with Zydeco music. So I looked up your area on a map to see how far you are from Baton Rouge and New Orleans to have some perspective. I look forward to more videos.

@rhcsw1682 new orleans is a 2 hr drive from here, and baton rouge about a 50 minute drive. This area is more rural but very rich in culture and traditions. I am recording at the Creole festival in Opelousas right now and will have the next video out at the end of the week. I am glad that you enjoyed and hope that you'll enjoy the upcoming videos.

@@Naomi.RN.Travels Great. I am social worker from Louisville, KY and love all things about Southern Black culture and the rich Creole, Black, Louisiana, rich history and culture. I've been to NO over 20 years ago. I am currently learning about the No Man's Land area between East Texas and West Louisiana.

I'm a nurse here in Louisiana. I vlog when I travel and love learning about other cultures. Then recently I decided that I wanted to record and share our unique culture here in Louisiana. I go to New Orleans all the time, I'll be recording there next weekend. No man's land, I'll have to look that one up.
