The kid at the end is my brother; he has ADHD and the mind of an 8-year-old. I know he’s insufferable, but you get used to it. In this video, I think he’s off his meds, which is why he’s subject switching and acting very crazy/hyper. He loves the skate park and also likes talking to people he doesn't know and tries to show off because he thinks it's cool. I’m sorry you had to go through that. Tell him that it will repel people away so he knows also him pressing on people like that at the skate park needs to fixed if he’s there. It's not so much the grip on your shoes as it is the shape of your shoe. But in your case, the reason your kickflips would rocket comes entirely down to weight placement and not flicking all the way through the nose. If you keep your head over your back leg, over the tail, your kickflips will stay under you or ahead of you. If you notice, when you go to kickflip and your board feels like it gets left behind, it's because you're jumping ahead of your board. For me, Iit doesn't matter what trick I try and at what angle of ramp, if you keep your head over the tail area of your board when you kickflip it will always be there to catch. Even when kickflipping out of fast or awkward ramps.
