Two of my kids are redheads. The oldest was nicknamed 'Duracell' (with the copper-coloured top) and has pale skin and blue eyes.. The other is a strawberry blonde, but with olive skin and green eyes. Husband is Irish in origin, and had a flaming red beard until he went grey. My origins are Indian and I'm quite dark.

@@withinpanicin Australia in the 90’s there was heap of crap over sunscreen as they could only use SP15+ for their sunscreen even if it had a higher protection rating. After huge skin cancer issues it was pushed to have better sunscreen so they changed the ‘law’ to being exactly what it is & that’s how our sunscreen improved & how we ended up with higher protection. We need it the sun here is hot, I can feel it burning me within minutes in the summer. We need high levels of protection due to having the highest skin cancer rates in the world

So I'm Irish Italian in Brazilian and I am freckled all over with Italian olive skin which is kind of crazy and I have auburn hair my son's my oldest son their father is Puerto Rican but they're Puerto Rican Irish Italian and Brazilian but my son has a full-on red beard with tan skinned so definitely mixed. None of my parents have red hair none of my parents have any of that no Irish as far as features but my dad on his side we did all the tests and he is also highly Irish she just doesn't have freckles and red hair but where 50% Irish

I have a dark red. I've tried to dye it brown with in a week you can see the red coming out.... Even if I dye it black. My daughter had very reddish dark mohogany color when she was young but it got dark as she got older. Now you can only see she's a redhead if light or sun hit her hair. My mom and aunts were from Ireland, lots of redheads in the family.

Love the fact you are red headed. My family I'd red headed and in Texas we are a few far in-between. So we constantly get asked if it's our true color, or they absolutely love it, or they remember when their hair was red at one point in life. As a kid I got bullied alot having red hair as did my kids, but I love it now that I am an adult. My kids also have come to embrace their hair as well. Since the british mandate in Israel Hebrew "borrowed" that word from the brits and started calling all red-head people a bit different.
