Shuri Solitaire is a Classic. My favorite version was all about making a giant Kitty Pryde back when Taskmaster was a 5 cost.

Magneto is a good alternate 6 drop for your Skaar slot. 6/24 that manipulates opponent's board. Red hulk was great for me during pocket evolutionary metas. Edit: she hulk used to mean Shuri on 4, float 5, slam 20 power she hulk with 20 power task on 6. New taskmaster prevents that, i tried a few times with gladiator\shulk instead of vision\Skaar... Shuri on 4 into gladiator+float 2, into shulk plus armor or lizard or maw (if you Sauron on 3). Things like that. I LOVED Shuri maining it for months... I could talk Shuri Sauron for ages. Sad you didn't have much success in that mini run but glad you liked the style enough to keep it in the hopper!

@rob77dp That she-hulk combo sounds so good! I'm definitely going to keep it around and tinker so more because there is potential here, but it may just be overshadowed by decks like big dumb idiots that kind of does the same thing with less steps.

I love this archetype. I play a different variation of this deck with magik and destroyer. When I get the combo I always win; turn 2 armor, turn 3 sauron, turn 4 magik, turn 5 shuri in the location where armor is, turn 6 redskull or typhoid mary where shuri and armor is and finaly on turn 7 taskmaster and ebony maw or titania, or zero and destroyer, or destroyer and ebony maw.

I found an interesting deck that actually makes Hulking viable. It's a discard deck that focuses around Black Knight and Gambit.

Sort of. I don't rely on Inifnaut. I rely on Apocalypse and Hulking to get sword to have +10 power. However, I also use Gambit and Morbius to round out the deck.

enchantres can hit your typhoid or red skull to to get you some suprise points on top of nullifying whatever they got going on. was my first main meta deck i made back when. sucks they made taskmaster 6 cuz if ya had sauron down you could use task on red skull and play ebony maw =/ i don't have modok...and i spent 50 dollars on the variant, cuz the credits also get me a key. i dunno how i feel about that lol. i always get the season pass and have gotten a couple good deal bundles here and there, kinda feel taken advantage of cuz modok is a staple card for discard and fomo hit. it's def on me for hitting purchase, but man...

@meeee32156 Enchantress definitely won me a couple of games when the opponent wasn't expecting her. It is a fun deck and can see how the taskmaster change really hurt it unfortunately. Yeah, their FOMO tactics are borderline predatory sometimes. I hope you don't let the buyers remorse impact you too much because it does happen. MODOK is a great card, and that is a sick variant so could be worse .

That is the same version of the deck I play. I don't like shehulk because i find she makes less impact then skaar. I used to play this alot but with the task master nerf it make it a bit harder to play turn 6.

@horror2705 I do like skaar over she-hulk even if i had her. It's a bummer i didn't get it thrown together prior to the TM nerf but can't have it all, lol.

I've been wanting to tinker with new Zabu (maybe in for lizard or something) to enable early Zabu into t3 shuri into t4 big 4 drop with zero last, into another downside big dude t5. Also possible to double 4 drop on t6. But haven't got around to messing with it (still too raw losing this as my main deck with taskmaster paying for move month's sins).

@rob77dp I am curious what the reasoning behind the TM nerf. I have heard speculation of move/bounce and human torch getting to big to be paired with him on T6 but I have no idea if that's it or not.

@@D4REPlays what I have heard, and contemplated, is that bounce style decks need taskmaster to cost 6 to put a bit of a lid on what kind of crazy T6 is possible in that deck with 5 cost TM.

If I were to play a more expensive version eventually, what would you recommend. I understand the vision being budget friendly but not armour because the ability has no synergy with the deck as it's an upside you can't really use and it can also get removed

Armor is good to stop the opponent from playing Shang Chi on your shuri target, and Vision is helpful to move into the Ebony Maw lane. I kinda think this deck is just best at budget levels

What was stated above. Shang-Chi is prevelant in all metas basically. Armor is there to try and stop that. It's also a good card for locations that kill your cards.

how do you know when they have Arishem right away?

Depends on two things. If they play a 2 cost turn one then they probably have arishem unless a location does something or you can check the deck count
