I agree 100% to everything you said in this video, I was literally snapping the entire time hahaha period. I just moved out of the city after living there for a year and everything that you said was pretty much the exact same reason as to why I left as well. NYC isn't for everyone and I feel like it's hard to accept that sometimes, especially bc the city life is so romanticized but you gotta do what you gotta do to make yourself happy. Life is waayyyy to short to be living somewhere that doesn't suit you and to not be around the people you love. Love this for you!

Don’t get a bronco!!! There are videos all over tik tok about how they get SMUSHED if you were to get in a wreck. Compared to other cars, they do not have good structure to protect you in an accident. Try Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, etc. NOT range rover either.

I'm 69 and moved to Charleston after 40 years in NYC. I don't miss NYC at all, except my grown children both still live there. MUSC is a thriving community. There is a doctor shortage because the population is growing so fast, no doubt they need nurses too. Good luck.

I am soooooo happy for you, Anna. As a mom, I have worried about you many times as you were on the subways, walking alone in Central Park and even grocery shopping. I know your co-workers will miss you, but it is time to "get out of Dodge" and spread your wings in place that are safer and closer to family. You are an asset in the nursing field, and you should be able to find find a new job and new home rather quickly. Charleston is a beautiful area, I know you will be happy there. It's so interesting to hear about nursing in the US and how its mainly fulltime nights or days. In Canada fulltime bedside nurses mainly do 2D/2N and 4/5 off (at least my hospital)!

Do not get a car based on cute vibe energy ...nooooo convertible anything tends to leak in the rain at some piont and if you are going anywhere in the cold you will freeze in those cars. Think function safety as a single girl and big enough so if you were in a cras it would save you with a solid built car.😊

think about going PRN that way you can work as much or as little as you want. more in your travel down time and less in your peak travel time. hospitals have requirements for PRN like 2 shifts in six weeks.

tbh if you don’t live in the same city as your family, you’ll probably only see them a few times a year which is basically the same as when you live across the country. are you realistically going to drive 4 and a half hours from charleston to atlanta to see your dad that often? you have so many opportunities with social media in nyc and the potential to live your best life! life in the south is much slower paced and just not as interesting. you’re young, have so much energy, and could continue living it up in nyc! i really think switching to day shift here could’ve changed your life and made the semi-irritable things about nyc more tolerable bc you wouldn’t be sleep deprived and constantly going thru the stress of switching your sleep schedule all the time. obviously it’s your life but this is def one of the saddest videos you’ve ever posted

@@Cheri94 well it’s not that easy to just move to days at her hospital since she has to wait for a position to open up but since she was given the opportunity after a year, she should’ve just taken it and at least tried it out before deciding that she just doesn’t like nyc! like she really doesn’t think that working nights and constantly having to flip her schedule is influencing how she’s feeling???🤦‍♀️
