I agree. We need more programs like this. Not every person can or wants to go to college. We should give high school students the way to get good training in varied fields! Thanks to Jason, these kids got exposure and maybe some other cities will follow this example!

It is wonderful seeing the youth being taught skills that can launch them into a lifetime successful career. Programs such as this, should be available to all students nationwide. Too many times, youth are portrayed in a negative light and it’s wonderful seeing positivity.

I went to a tech school as a kid and people used to look down on it for no reason. It's really nice to see kids who actually want to get into the automotive repair industry (it's almost rare these days) get a chance to work on a possible once in a lifetime build. These kids have some talent too. This is just one more reason to love you Jason.
@billhorton2564Ай бұрын
I am a graduate of a Vo-Tech school in the 70's. Back then it was for the kids who didn't have aspirations of college and or were "problem kids" who didn't perform well in the traditional school setting (me). I can only wish for the experience these young people are getting. Jason Kelce is a national treasure, and should be treated as such!
@PatRyan-c7zАй бұрын
@billhorton2564 Same with me, graduated from Tech and High School in 2002. It was the same stigma. I always said at least I get a half a day in a shop while you're stuck at a desk. Lol.

This is great, I love getting the local students involved. Personally I've wanted to do something similar but using the extend range style with Gas/Diesel EV Generator powering the whole thing. That way you can still fill up and keep driving. Similar to the new Ramcharger or what I think Deboss Garage / Edison Motors is doing. Keep it up Kelce! You are showing "us" how to be great again.

New Chevy Blazer EV has a single electric motor in the rear making it RWD. But it packs in 340 hp and 325lb/ft from that single motor. It would be an awesome drive train for old Chevys with problematic or lethargic engines. Wish they would sell it like a crate motor for building (hot) lightning rods.
