Personally, I always use a third party website to help double, triple, quadruple check my engravings as I pin them in the auction house one by one so I can make sure it’s a 5x3 with no red engravings. Your stone is done, so that’s a great first step. (Many people aim for 7/7 on their stone, so congrats!) If I recall correctly, it should be possible to hit a 5x3 build with only one set on legendary books with a 7/7 stone. This is why an engraving calc is so important. Chances are that Hunger books will be the cheapest legendary books to buy for you. The next item I always buy is the class engraving accessory **on your ring** in case you have to cheap out a little. Rings have the least amount of stats, so lower quality on a ring will result on less stats lost on your build. Then I purchase necklace because it’s the next item that can be a pain in the neck to find when you are trying to avoid red (negative) engravings. Last, there’s a chance that buying Adrenaline +5 accessories may be more expensive than buying Grudge +5 accessories for a higher quality build. (Several classes could use a 3Grudge/5 Adrenaline accessory for example) A lot of DPS eventually do save up for legendary Grudge books, so Grudge 3 is commonly used. All that to say it’s worth checking to see you can get your 5x3 using three Grudge accessories instead lol 😅 I would imagine your build would look something like this: 7/7 - Ambush / Raid Cap Purple Adrenaline +9 Legendary Hunger +12 3 Hunger - 5 Ambush 5 Grudge - 3 Adren 5 Grudge - 3 Adren 5 Grudge - 3 RC 5 RC - 3 Ambush It’s mental math and not the only solution, but I’m fairly sure that’s a 5x3 I hope my explanation helps and I hope it comes in as affordable as possible for you. Remember, try to buy your accessories once, it feels so bad replacing something that you didn’t have to because it made your stats lower than they needed to be. The reason adrenaline stones are so expensive, is that adrenaline is the stat you would usually go as 2/3, so you would be 5x3(other engravings)+2(adrenaline). You would need a 9/7 stone for that, with 7 being adrenaline.

So Adrenaline is a lot more expensive because it is one of the most widely used engravings behind Grudge, mostly for the crit rate it gives at max stacks. For most builds that run Adrenaline, Adrenaline 2 is the best in slot for a 5x3+2 (which requires a 9/7 or 10/6 stone with adrenaline as 7 or 10). Because of those two things Adrenaline rocks are going to be very expensive in general. Another thing that can vary the price is the engraving it is paired with, in your case Ambush master and Adrenaline are common to see on any back attack class. Then also recent class releases will make market prices fluctuate for whatever engravings they use, for example when slayer was released and even months afterwards any stones or accs with engravings slayer used were super high price. Also congrats on getting a 7/7 in 4 stones! Some people can be very unlucky with usable stones, so its good that you got one relatively quickly. Those accessories are also very important to have decent quality on since your main and substat are pretty damn important for class functioning, don't be afraid to splurge a little for higher quality accessories!

It’s been said already but definitely use an engraving calculator to help u visualize the build. I would always go for a high quality necklace as that’s the bulk of the stats so u should try every different possible combinations on the neck first followed by class piece since that’ll be the next most expensive. Tip is to not skimp out on quality of accessories, it will end of costing more but in the long run you will save money because you won't have to rebuy a better quality and waste pheons. You want to aim for mine 1750 main stat with the pet buff, this is mostly so you will get accepted into parties for raids. Your character page is your resume and if someone has a better resume (stat,engraving,cardset) than you, then you will get gatekept. On all my alts I make it an effort to min have 1750 stat on them and on main / main alt I aim for 1800 main stat. Of course, these are with ancient bracelet that can give 100+ main stat.

Just throwing my 2 cents in here. I think this is all true and very relevant. But at 1490. This isn't a final build. Eventually, you are gonna want to move to relic accessories. I think if it's a long-term build, making sure quality is good is really important, but I also wouldn't overspend on something you are planning on replacing.

@cxgslegend01 I actually agree with this. I wasn't thinking about how I built my char when it was 1490, and only thinking about 1540. I'd change my original comment to somewhere between 1700-1750 main stat and then when you're at 1540 think about a 5x3+1 with ancient accessories and 1800 Main stat. But in this case I would try to hard push to 1540( if you can , don't burn yourself out doing this) and then build your character with ancients so you don't t have to spend more pheons.

Gearing advice, I'll try to keep in concise 1. 7/7 stone is really good, lock it and cherish it 2. buy legendary books for hunger, they should be dirt cheap right now 3. buy relic ring with hunger 3 and 5 on the engraving you use (when buying ring you can go for lower quality to save gold, becuase rings give you the least amount of stats) 4. plan for all accessories at once, replacing them one by one will not do (also watch for negatives) 5. try to get necklace and earrings at least at blue quality - stats are really important 6. sell your legendary skin (where you at it gives you barely any benefit, gold would be more usefull) 5x3 for reaper should be doable in ~30-50k on relic accs based on current EU prices (that's without cost of relic books), maybe even cheaper depending on the engravings you use. For planning, definitely use a sheet or engraving website. Just equip your stone and take everything else off. Pheons are really valuable, so you don't want to be wasting them on green salad accessories that you're gonna replace soon. Building your gear is really satisfying and congrats on your 7/7! If you sold your pants, you'd be able to get legendary books which would make gearing a lot easier. If you have 2 sets of legendary books and a 7/7 it's a breeze. You should be able to google around and find some resources on how the setup will look. It's great to see your progression so far, keep it up!

7/7 is a good stone,with 2 legendary engraving you can male 5x3+1 if you have 2 legendary engravings(+12), basically is a stone that can carry you almost forever. class engraving on accessory is the most expensive one so i suggest to avoid necklace cause of all the amount of stat it gives. another tip that i can give is to not buy the first accesory you find, first use the pin button to save it on an interessed list,make the build you want and then when you got all the accesory buy them, otherwise you gonna find yourself with an incomplete build because what you are looking for is not on action house or is way to expensive.if you google "lost ark meta game ability stone calculator" and "lost ark loa todo engraving calculator" you can find 2 usefull tools to create your build and an help on cutting stone. hope this help you save gold and pheon

@@revyll I think a 7/7 is something like 1/20 odds so it's very good actually. Side note: Once you reach Kayangel you unlock ancient accessories which allow +6+3 on two engravings so you can get 5x3+1 builds. If you cut a 9/7 stone (extremely extremely rare) you can actually go 5x3+2 and typically Adrenaline 2 is the best +2 engraving with a 9/7, that's why the adrenaline rocks are so expensive.

congrats on the 7/7 stone, by the way the reason why adrenaline stones are expensive is because its one of the few engravings u are "allowed" to go level 1/2 and get away wif it. Accessories wise, u can put it on hold for now since the balance patch for reaper comes next month so the engravings needed on reaper will slightly change. I suggest putting class engraving and grudge on the free 2 engraving slot at your profile as class engravings are quite expensive but might not be as expensive as buying 3 accessories wif class engravings, those tend to be more expensive. Furthermore reaper books are all quite cheap. Quality on accessories, you can skimp out on rings to go 70-80 but necklace and earrings preferably 90 and above as those give the most stats (swift). As for necklace you could possibly get a 70-90 quality necklace if the swiftness is high enough. As there are some high swift low crit necklace vice versa high crit low swift ones. So your priority on that is high swift low crit.

Congratz on a fairly easy 7/7 stone! Advices for engravings: 1. Buy legendary hunger. Best invested 5-10k by a mile. You need at least one legendary book for 5x3 with relic accessories. 2. Check the prices of legendary books for the other engravings you play. Dont buy grudge, you prolly also can't afford it. Ambush might be pretty accessible, but it is also on your stone so falls short. So only adre and raid remain, which will be quite expensive unfortunately. If you buy legendary books and are playing other DPS chars, you might consider buying books they also can use. That's why grudge is so expensive, every dps uses it. You can also look into cursed doll books, because in the forseeable future with ancient accessories, you most likely will play adrenaline as a lvl 1 engraving and play cursed doll instead. You already can choose cursed doll right now, the choice is usually between Adre and CD. 3. Don't budget on quality, especially not necklace. An 4x3 with 100 quality is worth more than a 0 quality 5x3. Dont go 4x3, but dont budget too hard. 4. If you bought 2x legendary books, you don't need full 5/3 Accessoires, you have 3 points to spare. You can either go for A) super cheap 5/0 necklace with 90-100 quality. B) up to 3 4/3 accessories (cheaper than 5/3s even in high quality). Especially 3/4 class engraving can save you quite some money. Alternatively, no double legendary engraving will force you to buy full 5/3 accessories. This might save you the money the second legendary book would have cost, and the book stays whenever you upgrade to ancient. 5. Your 2 most expensive parts are usually the necklace and class engraving part. Obviously you should try to not have class on neck to avoid hugh cost. Look for a combinstion of ambush raid captain and adre/cd. Grudge is also pretty expensive on necklace. Try to focus on neck and class part first and Center your build around them. 6. Since you run a spec swift split, you can also check both stats for whatever accessories. If I remember correctly you usually run 50/50 or can lean even heavier into swift, personal preference. 7. Save all potential candidates by marking them as favorite in the broker, so you don't need to search for them 10 times. 8. Before buying anything, do your legion raids this week first. Buy all the boxes, they have a pretty good chancr to drop high quality relic accessories with your class engraving. Maybe you get lucky and can save a fair bit. To make it easier, google lost ark engraving calculator, it helps setting up your build. Try to avoid negatives engravings, they look bad and attack power reduction is griefing, but I think you technically can have some move speed reduction and still hit the cap for raid captain. The project will eat up most to all of your gold, but it is a required sacrifice. The legendary books will go a long way with you and are required for a later ancient 5×3+1. So even if double legendary book is a bit more expensive but affordable, don't greed there The alternative to all of this is, if you havent used it yet, to simply use the hyper express event from soul eater (separate from path of the souleater) to have free engravings for a longer time). In that case just be on the lookout in the meantime, but you might end up at 1540 before you know it and can skip straight to ancient. 5x3 with ancients are also way easier to build.

So if you clear a raid with your souleater or your sharpshooter, you can freely mail ability stones, accessoires and bracelets without pheon cost. The only thing that happens to them is that their tradeability goes down by one. Some ability stones might be useless on some of your characters and BIS for others some for accessoires.

If I am not mistaken, there is a souleater hyper express going on currently which has exact same free 5x3 engraving system as you have right now on your reaper, so I believe you can apply that hyper express on your reaper once your older one has expired unless you applied it on another character.

You could look into investing into the legendary engraving books if they're not too expensive, I know a lot of the books for older classes have plummeted in price to just hundreds each. Could save you gold with accessories, and you'll probably want it further down the line anyway.

Theres a lot of 3rd party tool to help you with engravings set up, so you not constantly looking at your character screen to figure out. Loa to do for example is one. 7/7 stone is good , get a 5x3 for now its good enough until 1580z and at 1580 you will need to get a 5x3+1 . Best investment you can ever spend with your gold is legendary books for your class engraving and grudge books.you will need grudge on every dps class. You should have some free books from event and stuff, you probably wont need to spend too much to complete 20 books. Do your raids every week, youll need more and more gold.

Adrenaline is pretty expensive on stones because of the 9/7 (or 10/6) possibility. With ancient accessories, the baseline of engravings iy 5x3 + 1x1. A 9/7 stone enables a +2 engraving. However, the +2 engraving needs to be the 7 on the stone (or the 10).and since adrenaline is a linear scaling engraving instead of exponential, it is a very good option as a +2.

You should use an engraving/build planner of any kind, find the accessories and put them in the planer. Then buy everything all at once. Sometimes you can't find a specific piece, especially if it's a class engraving. Also would avoid you getting malice engravings, as often without preplan you get the red negatives. Also suggest not buying neck or earring below 80-90 quality. On the necklace alone you lost maybe 60 swift, which is actually quite a lot since the pet then multiplies that. Some engravings like raid captain need a specific amount of swift to be efficient. Also get legendary books, I used to pay 200k for reaper books, now it's probably 2k for them, totally worth it.

@@revyll oh hey. Yeah the books used to be very expensive. These days everything other than the latest 1-2 classes are cheap because everyone already has all the books they would want. Grudge used to be 15-20k per book even. You would do raids on all 6 characters (18 per week) for months just to get grudge books. These days the game is much more accessible in certain aspects.

See all options when building good gear. Some rocks are more expensive than others, same with accessories. You can switch around engravings like instead of an accessory having 2 crazy popular engravings like grudge and adren, it could be grudge and like raid captain or something. Check your options. You can save ALOT of gold, Good luck❤ ALSO imo don’t try maxing all your engravings to 12, just the ones your gonna use with your selected class engraving. Since it won’t matter unless it’s one of the 2 selected engravings. I personally max grudge since my alts also use grudge. Every class does so it’s worth maxing out

since you are too new to get grudge legendary books coz they cost alot i suggest you get grudge in your rock its gonna help alot to reduce the cost and since you got 7/7 stone you can buy a neck that has +5 on 1 engraving and trash secondary eng to get the highest quality possible for so cheap (unless you are going for a 5x3 +1 and not for 5x3 only ) coz quality in neck is the most important followed by quality in earrings ( quality in rings is the lowest in value )

I would highly recommend to not spend too much gold on relic accesories and focus on getting purple ancient necklace and earrings, blue rings are good enough. For hunger reaper the best in slot stats after the upcoming January patch are spec swift neck ,1 ear spec ,1 ear swift ,2 rings swift. Bracelet aim for as much swift and spec and one decent 3rd if possible(Circulate, Fervor, Hammer, Wedge, Ambush.

Remember that you cannot equip ancient accessories items until 1540 IL. Typically, you should mark all of the accessories you want to buy while utilizing a third-party site to see how everything will look once you buy everything. This allows you to keep better track of things and avoid making mistakes. When you've marked all of the accessories, you can buy all five of them as quickly as possible. If you buy them one at a time, the ones you might need may be purchased before you locate them, forcing you to wait for the new accessories to arrive on the market. You also struck gold with that stone. I'm relieved (or "revylled" if you like :D). I wouldn't want you to give up on the game after a bad cutting casino stone session. I spent about 900 pheons and still couldn't acquire it, so you got very lucky :)

stones with adrenaline are more expensive because with a 9/7 stone ure able to have a 5x3+2 lineup. adrenaline is pretty much the best stat in have at lv 2 out of all. To achieve this your 9/7 stone has to have adrenaline as the 7 stat. a 7/7 is the baseline and you could use any engravings for that. a 9/7 is either whatever or insane depening on what u get i.e. a 9/7 with raid caption and grude is way worse than a 9/7 with raid caption and adrenaline since youd want grudge maxed out

Adrenaline stones will always be the most expensive because of 5 lvl 3 engravings + 1 lvl 2 engraving builds (5x3 + 2). A build like this is only possible if you cut a 9/7 stone or a 10/5 and since adrenaline is typically the best in slot engraving to have at level 2 it HAS to be either the '7' or the '10' on the ability stone. You don't have to worry about this though just thought I'd give ya some info on why adrenaline stones are so expensive (there is such a high demand for them).

You shouldn't buy accessories like that. You can pin the accessories and buy them at the end. This way you are safe from making a mistake. Also, use an online engraving calculator, they help a lot. As for how to set your engravings... ideally you want your class engravings books to be +12 (aka golden) then buying an accessory with +3 on it to get it to +15, level 3 hunger. Same with your 2nd engravings book. Since your stone is 7 ambush 7 raid captain, you shouldn't go golden books on those, since you only need 8 nodes on both and the books give 12 (will waste 4 nodes). At this point, I'll recommend using the adrenaline books to +12. For your other accessories, get adrenaline +3, ambush master +5, ambush master +3, raid captain +5, raid captain +3, and three gudge +5. Just remember that you can't have the same engravings on one accessory (e.g. camt get ambush master +5 and ambush master +3 on the same accessory). As for saving gold, you will have to check which combination of +5 +3 is the cheapest to buy from the market. Sorry if this is overwhelming, but that's why online calculator help by keeping track of everything.

grab a pen and paper list all the stuff you need in what combinations you can get them like 5/5/5 6/6/3 or if u need less cuz of a 7 or 8 on the stone like 3/5 3/4 and then filter them on all accessorys and just mark any usable one with interested and then at the end you can choose them from there. thats how i do it all the time
