Jarod is totally correct it's called a hamburger because it originated in Hamburg Germany in Ireland we just say burger or chicken burger that's was a great crazy memory Addison sooo full of confidence then "mom he's touching meeee 😢" so funny I love her confidence honestly but she is just so funny....and Kylie omg you are just too funny I love it, we don't have things like that in Ireland but our spiders really are getting bigger and bigger every year and they freak me out so bless you all for living with all these creepy crawlies ❤❤❤

Love, the fact that the kids all are learning to bake when you do it as a group thing. It’s important these days that kids learn how to cook and measure. A friend of mine never allowed her girls in the kitchen. She wanted them to all be very independent. In other ways. When my son married one of these girls, she didn’t know how to use a measuring cup measuring spoons to this day. She still has trouble cooking in the kitchen.❤️

Where I am in the UK we usually call your 'hamburgers' beef burgers (or just burgers) and your 'chicken sandwiches' as chicken burgers - so nice and simple! A chicken sandwich would have bread rather than a burger bun - unless its McDonalds and then they still call it a McChicken Sandwich over here too.

The original concept of a hamburger came from Hamburg, Germany so that's indeed where the name comes from. The kids act like it's unlikely, because the word "burger" is in there, but that's actually the newest of all the words and just an abbreviation from "hamburger". So it goes like this: "Hamburg": founded in the 4th century, although the name came later - the actual castle ("burg" means castle) was built around 800 AD > "Hamburger": late 19th century > "Burger": 1930s

Well done Jarrod White Castle traces the origin of the hamburger to Hamburg, Germany, with its invention by Otto Krause. Some have pointed to a recipe for "Hamburgh sausages" on toasted bread, published in The Art of Cookery Made Plain and Easy by Hannah Glasse in 1758. Hamburgers gained national recognition in the U.S. at the 1904 St.
