It really is. For certain videos, people will have to follow us on other platforms, till KZbin stops this ridiculousness. I know others in my niche going through the same thing. I wonder how many videos they are incorrectly marking now.

@@EpicFamilyQuests So I read this on twitter and I haven't tried it, but someone said your appeal will be approved if you add swear words in the subtitles of your video (the subtitles that youtube generates) because the appeal is checked by a bot. And then once it's been approved you can remove the swear. If you try it, let me know if it works.

I have had a couple issues with this lately too. I only had 2 shorts forced as "made for kids" over the past several years and now over the last couple weeks I have had 7 shorts changed (some of them old, some slightly newer)! 2 of the ones change are just my pov sliding down a water slide with NO kids even in the video, so it really makes no sense! I did get 2 of their changes reversed after I appealed but not the water slide videos. I feel like they got some new AI and are scanning the entire library with it.

Oh my gossshhhh. Which ones did they reverse? It's sooo discouraging. If they start marking all our videos made for kids, what is the point? I've heard from 2 others in the theme park niche, they've had some marked recently too.

@@EpicFamilyQuests I had a couple different roller coaster clips, just showing off a cool part of a ride and they reversed them after appeal. Literally had another one this morning and just got it reversed!

I'm 23 and my favorite parts about the theme parks are the character meet and greets! I'm sorry this is happening to you guys and I loved watching the videos about the characters.... They were my favorite

I really hope not 🥺 I'll continue posting on Instagram/Tiktok and then I'll upload full length ones on Patreon. I don't know what else to do since KZbin will not even have a reasonable conversation.

Thank you for the support. I really do try my best and it's just silly this issue we are dealing with. There's lots of adults who love the themeparks, including characters. I don't know what will happen to our channel in the future :( if KZbin will shut us down.

Do you think that it's because your kids are in the videos? A few of my daughter's videos I noticed all of a sudden had comments turned off. I looked, and the videos were changed to kids only as well. I don't know if that's the same reason? My views dropped a lot in the last few weeks. We are such a small channel that it's very noticeable too. 🤦‍♀️

It could be a reason, but I know 2 grown adults with no young kids (in the themepark niche) that have had videos marked too. Peppa & Shrek have been marked for myself and another account who has no kids. I'll let Peppa go because that is a show aimed for young kids, but Shrek is for everyone. So I couldn't say the exact reason. Which ones of yours have gotten marked?? It's awful 🥺

Do you think they are just weird about certain characters then? 🤔 Well, at first I wasn't putting her in our shorts, but then when I started, I noticed the comments kept getting turned off. I thought that was weird. Usually, it's just when we've been to the aquarium or when she was making a HP wizard short.

I really don't know because KZbin just generalizes everything. My Green Goblin/ Doctor Doom just got marked today, Popeye & Olive Oyl, Peppa and Shrek so far. Could be more. This is just the beginning I'm sure. KZbin's response is basically "there's a character in it so characters are for kids" without any actual reasoning.
