I can't even begin to express my loathing for the Crown Prince. He is a total and utter disappointment in the 'man' department. He is a bully, a betrayer, a liar, and horrible murdering husband. He's disgusting in his 'efforts' to protect her. He loves torturing her regardless, and he doesn't pull any stops, he hits her where it hurts every single time, and he is without the least bit of kindness. Now he's jealous of the man who's protected him all of his adult life, his right arm of defense...lol... the Crown Prince is laughable if he weren't so vindictive.

Sometimes he's doing that to protect the crown consort coz he later discovered that the concubine is evil, for him to bully her in front of the concubine was to eventually protect her coz if you've watched other episodes you will see how protective he was to the crown consort always telling general pei that he should guard her even when she's unaware

Yes because shes kinda jealous of Sese thats why she always quarrel with Li Chengyin and to get his attention. Remember at first he doesnt give much attention to her because he had Sese. It was Xiaofeng who insisted going with him in the investigation and when he try to ignore and left her she would persist or even pestered him to get his attention she said she wants to be friends with him

It was Chengyin who ordered Pei Zhao to guard and protect her always, even if his duty as to the leader of the soldiers. Pei as a subject had to understand her always. But Xiaofeng become close and comfortable to Pei but not to Chengyin. Some viewers are hypocrites it is a natural reaction of a normal person, try it on your real life. if you are not, you are very confident of yourself, thats good

Just because they are your favorite actors and famous they can give justice to the portrayal of the characters. They might be paled in comparison not even half of Xingxu and Xiaoran. Its good it was acted by a newbies and not famous then (their breakthrough and first lead drama) because they acted natural and no airs of the famous
