No holeshot devices is the best rule ever. #realstartskills

i still dont use one. if your body positioning and clutch feeding is good, you will be just fine
@daneg14 сағат бұрын
@@dr00andrew way I look at it is this: almost all the pros say they don't like the grates because it takes away skill and variability of the start. how on earth is that any different from the situation with holeshot devices? /shrug. I'd rather do away with both, but if you keep one, the same rationale should apply to the other, no?
@dr00andrew5 сағат бұрын
@@daneg Holeshot devices help, but not nearly as much as grates. I actually think grates are dangerous AF. now everyones going 40+mph into the first turn at the same time, especially in sx. at least before gates, there was separation on the start. sx starts are not ripped deep like motocross. they wanna remove dragons backs and do 9 whoops but damn get off the grates, they are dangerous for first turn pileups
@danegСағат бұрын
@@dr00andrew grates in sx are somewhat redundant. I agree that much. there isn't much in front of the gate in the way of ruts/lines. my understanding is that grates were introduced primarily b/c that was the FIM standard. but FIM doesn't really "do" SX, so it's kind of an outlier. that said, the "skill" argument is no different than the argument against holeshot devices and the RPM devices which are all just crap that reduces the human element at the start. then again, at the end of the day, the better starters are still the better starters. except tomac. he's clearly doing a lot better with the grates. 😄

No you don't. It's a shithole. Highest taxes, highest gas prices, highest number of homeless, some of the highest home prices and rent, crappy weather for most of the state, and an idiot dictator for governor.
