As someone who lives in the states who prioritizes time off in the winter, are there places to boondock (camping not sledding) near trailheads? I’m set up to camp off grid and ride ride ride buddy!

I live in a camper as i travel for work. Being out in the winter id highly recommend getting some foam board insulation to skirt the camper. It made a huge difference and is saving me a ton on propane. Goodluck with following that dream!

Thank you very much! The trailer has a fully insulated belly, so I will see how it does at first and evaluate the need of skirting. It definitely wouldn't hurt.

That's a good point! Definitely something to consider. I will resort to using Basecamp's dry room if the condensation gets too bad.

If you get a hitch from a sway system (don’t even need to use the sway setup) they have a longer hitch without needing an extension, that’s what I do on my dually with a wide/long deck 👍

I was using my weight distribution hitch and the sway bars but it wasn't quite long enough. This trailer has a very short front hitch. Made it work! haha

once again, why do people buy short box trucks? I have 3 crew cab long boxes, and a regular cab long box. If you use those things called mirrors on the side and pay attention it's not hard to drive. As a bonus you don't end up hauling everything with the tailgate down.🤣
