You can pay 450 a month rent instead of 800 if you look a bit, so ya, it's way cheaper. For 800, you really should be renting a 3 bedroom house! You're smart to make this move now while your young - enjoy!

I’ve been fortunate to travel a lot and believe me when I say every country is going through the same problem. Moving to Thailand works because of the conversion rate. If you got paid in local currency, most likely you’re not living the same lifestyle. The native locals also are being priced out of their local amenities because of digital nomads. I think you should move however Thailand/indonesia it’s a ticking time bomb before people get priced out too. The problem is big corporation greed and weak governments. Fight that and we’ll have a more reasonable cost of living!
