My husband and I got married on the beach at lovers key in Florida with just a small group of friends/family. Rented a really nice Airbnb for a week to enjoy some time there as well. For us it was so much better than a traditional wedding and much cheaper

The ring was a very cute concept and I really like it. And of course you're going to film the wedding it's just a matter of if you're going to post it or not. My wedding is actually posted on KZbin although nobody knows about it 😆 We had my wedding at my parents house (that is a landscaper so the yard is very nice) and we had our wedding catered by stonefire grill which is one of our favorite restaurants. It was just a simple buffet style setup. My mom did all the planning and our wedding cost like $5,000. We had 80 guests. 15 is definitely doable and your guys's house is so nice and spacious that you could definitely just utilize your own house and have the wedding there.

Just a reminder. If you don't want kids, you don't have to have them. They are very time consuming, very expensive and stressful. My wife and I already know we won't be having any because we much prefer having dogs and maybe a few bunnies. And also the freedom to travel and do anything we want. I know society pressures everyone into kids but you guys kind of sound apprehensive about it so dont have them if there's a chance you'll regret it. But If you do decide you want them then that's great also.

Save your money and do a small wedding in a park or backyard instead and use that money for marriage counselling for several days *before the wedding* to work out and prevent issues (ie does 1 partner need to spend money to buy the newest things, Do you share the same ideals about saving for retirement/ investing / socializing with others vs staying home, career, childcare etc. Otherwise, Congrats on your engagement, I wish you both the Best!!

Random but In Australia you have to get a new prenup when you get married. So I paid 25k every relationship ( I’ve had 3 serious that lasted longer than 6 months). I see some people saying a $15k budget is low. But I actually agree with graham. My brother recently rented a really nice Airbnb for his wedding, he got lucky in that a family member is a chef and cooked, so he saved some money there and in other ways.. but the wedding was I think like $10k. It was small, and intimate, and a ton of fun. Many of us said it was the best wedding we’d ever been to. Doesn’t need to be fancy.

I know this goes against every fiber of Grahams being, but try not to skimp too much on the wedding costs. It’s a once time event in your lives and I promise you will 100% remember the memories and not the balance sheet of every last cost. I am not saying to have a wedding as if Mr. Beast was in charge of the budget, but maybe do something a nicer than if BeatTheBush was in charge. I’d be surprised if you two can get your wedding in for 15K, I think 30K would be more realistic depending on the amount of people. At the end of the day, its your event so go enjoy it.
