Since that one boy got kicked out... I think he's the one who went to Playtime CO. To see poppy/that girl, but he had to survive all the monsters and events. But he came as an adult, so maybe poppy/that girl wouldn't recognize him because it's been so long since they've met, and that boy was grown up so he would look different.

I think he tucked the strand of her hair because he reminded her of the poppy doll, as you can see, the poppy doll has a strand of hair infront of her face. Maybe he knew about the experiment all along and decided to distract the red-haired girl, which he failed to do so. Also, his reaction in the end got me suspicions. What is he all upset for? Is it because she was leaving, and they'll be seperated? Or was it because he knew that she was gonna be turned into a toy? The sorrow in his eyes (ending reaction) tells me he actually knew about the experiment all along.

Also, Can't I Even Dream of Poppy Playtime does make me sad. I was crying because of what Poppy is going through so sad to see the pain. I was never an orphan. But I wish I could be a kid again. But well done with the reaction. I haven't played the game yet. I been watching people playing Poppy Playtime since it came out last year. I'm going to wait until all chapters come out. A lot of people(including me) believe that the boy in poppy's story is the one used for the experiment on huggy wuggy because it is evident in the canon storyline that huggy wuggy hated poppy which was the same reaction the little boy was showing at the end of the video. It seemed that the boy aka huggy wuggy was so blinded by his hatred for poppy that he forgot all of their memories and just focused on trying to get revenge. The main reason why the boy was so angry at the end is because he was jealous and he felt betrayed that after all of the time he and poppy spent together, she betrayed him.

I don’t think the boy was Huggy Wuggy, instead I think he got eaten because in the video “Pro Poppy Playtime Player Part 2 (AOT)” the end frames show a boy, with clothes awfully similar to the boys clothes in Poppy’s story with his first appearance.

Only in theory if the boy is the main character that went to Playtime Company disguise as a former staff after 10 years in the Game, maybe searching for the truth. In future chapters if it's ever becomes canon or not; I can't imagine what their reunion would be if the sole survivor finds out that his childhood friend got turned into a living doll and the reasons of her "betrayal".

My theory is that this little boy survived 2 potential deaths. Soon to be poppy saved him back at the orphanage and when he was older (probably 20 years old) he worked at playtime company and that incident happened where all the staff disappeared and survived that one too and years later (probably 40 years of age at this time) he returns to find out what happened to them via the tape that was sent to them. And the monster toys themselves are getting revenge on the adults for what they did to them. Maybe poppy doesn’t recognize the main character. BUT HEY THATS JUST A THEORY, A GAME THEORY 👆🏼😎
