not sure but i think they r actualy a boy, bc on the japanese dub riri uses boku as pronoum, and though not allways, its usually a male pronnoum. for example, kate, the other wizard, uses watashi, which is either neutral or feminine. but there migth be another reason of why riri uses boku that i dont know

​@@carlossouza3288 3 months later, but boku _can_ be used by girls, in real life as well but especially in anime where pronouns, hair/eye colours and stuff like that all tends to be exaggerated to fit the personality of the characters (i.e. Anzu uses atashi instead of watashi all the time, because she's the main girl). Boku is typically used for younger/less polite/more hyper characters which Riri absolutely is considering the cup size rant and things like that.
