I sold my sealed VHS copy of The Wizard for $1500 two years ago. I thought I did pretty good until I found out it goes for $3000+ But I was still happy since I only paid 25¢ for it.

I hope you are on TRACK for the SNES collection to be completed soon. I remember getting a copy of Ridge Racer, black label, jewel case at one of my local game stores. They had it priced the same as a greatest hits copy. Also, I think the disc of Ridge Racer you have goes with the long box copy. The black label, jewel case disc looks like the cover of the instruction manual.

Hey Cooper. Question for you: Do you ever feel guilty for not playing your games? I have close to 250 Switch games and I've probably only played like a 25% of them.

He does play them though, that’s why he typically doesn’t go for factory sealed stuff, the thing is though between the fact that he has so many games it’s hard to go through them all and the fact that so many are incredibly expensive it’s hard to justify playing them
@repomanzilla4 ай бұрын
@@jblast22 irregardless of the value of the game we do play them. Games are meant to be played. People who make comments like that one about wasting money are generally people who can’t afford a bag of fries let alone a collection and instead of supporting the gaming industry they steal copies of games and play them on there 2008 laptop they got at goodwill for $19….and complained about that too prolly

I'm on track to have a complete ps1 collection. Not including all variants. I love getting black label jewel case variants of long box games. Some of them are expensive. I hope you read my comment about you having the wrong disc. Stuff like that bothers me when I find out, I get excited that I need to hunt for it, but if it's rare or hard to find that can suck. I actually have a loose disc of the jewel case ridge racer disc, and was planning on listing it on ebay. You won't want it though, since I'm going to ask a good amount. I did buy it for the regular price of a disc only long box or gh copy from a lady who didn't know. I bet your copy was bought used at gamestop, and the clerk just threw whatever was the first loose disc in their drawer inside the case when it was bought. It's spent years like that.

Collecting without curation is hoarding
@ryandann93624 ай бұрын
People who collect all types of stamps are hoarders. People who collect every type of coin are hoarders. People who collect all sets of pokemon cards are hoarders. Or People without the space and finances make up statements like without curation you're a hoarder. Do you go around telling people they all have to wear blue shirts, because blues your favorite color and is the best? Derp

@@ryandann9362 I love you feel the need to defend this channel over a simple fact. What is the point of collecting? To get another dopamine hit because no game out of the 100 you own is “fun”? To escape your job? Because you are not a fan of where your life is headed? This man’s life is video games. And that’s great. His business is successful. Good for him. When you look back at 80, you will realize that you have spent all your time on artificially crafted, dopaminergic experiences.
