Leeteuk is right in being sensitive about the products. In these pandemic/post-pandemic days, the Korean meal kit market is practically saturated. A lot of GP (general public) Koreans also don't get a lot of products released/endorsed by idols because they think that it's a so-so product cruising on the idols' popularity and hedging on fans to buy them. So him focusing on the quality and making sure that consumers are getting the most bang for their buck is smart as it's going to get them a lot of repeat buyers.

I really admire leeteuk's work ethics. He doesn't do anything rhat make harm the product and want to customers to have the best version of it. Even though some people think he nitpicking everything he just trying to make it good so people eat it feels happy

Teuk is saying the right thing. They need it to be perfect in texture & quality. Because the market they are penetrating is actually competitive. People will usually buy something from the same brand unless there is something "different". Right now, the biggest marketing points are Teuk & Shindong but in order to retain the customer, they will need the food to be high quality or sufficiently in order for it to attract more foodie. Because once it is famous for being "delicious" , it will enlarge the market/consumer.

I like Shindong's tonkatsu product as a meal kit BUT I don't want to fry it on lots of oil for health reasons. Air fryer tonkatsu should be included (as option in cooking) in meal kits

For real though...All the kimchi I find in America is always just the thick stem part of the cabbage. It's too sour. I want leafy kimchi. 😭

I'm from the Philippines and I like buying store bought bottled cabbage kimchi but I also encountered a bottled kimchi that is too sour. I think Koreans called it aged kimchi and they love that. But the sourness is not for me.

It is a show where bosses from all kinds of fields (restaurant chef, CEO of model agency, basketball coach, youtuber, musical director etc.) show their work routine. The guests and MCs sometimes comment if they think the bosses were being too much to their employees and that's when they press that red box they have in front of them. But most of the time they press the button for comedic reasons. I would say most of the bosses are great and it is interesting seeing how hard some of them work. Hope this explanation helps!
