As we saw with Jordan’s kids, the “NBA Star’s kid” ticket doesn’t get you very far, even if your dad was arguably the GOAT. Both of his sons were really solid hoopers and couldn’t even get onto a roster in the NBA. It’s going to need real work.

i actually like this insight a lot. immense pressure to be a 2nd gen nba player of being a superstar's son. big shoes to fill and we have been waiting to see who can truly fill them. kiyan seems SO wholesome, from referencing paul god to being personal goat to his relationship with not just his parents, but his family and admiration for them and understanding the privilege he has and how he is going to take advantage of his situation. i love to see it and i hope he has a lot of success in the league - i know he will. that is a lot of determination for someone who is so young and is already enjoying the fruits of his parents labor. i love his aspiration. he will never be his father, but he can be great like his father.

Kiyan has really impressed me with how his game is evolving. He is very fundamentally sound. Great shot mechanics, and most importantly he has good balance and footwork. He will probably end up 6'6 at minimum. I see alot of Allan Houston in Jim at thr moment and shades of Klay in terms of his demeanor.
