So the story is... There is a thing called the hour of joy. And during the hour of joy, the toys (huggy wuggy, mommy long legs, bunco, boxy boo and so on) they got rid of all the humans men women and including children also newborns. And during that they left only the orphans for some reason and they were the orphans left.. and how they are scared because of the "storm" the storm was actually the screams of the people being killed by the toys during the hour of joy. And Catnap had to put them to sleep so he could help the people.. he didn't want to but he had to.... And the smiling critters ended up dead... because Bubba bubaphant: killed by catnap with the red smoke Kicked chicken: killed by prototype because he wanted to see outside 4 the first time Poppy hopscotch: jumped to high and fell to her death Bobby bearhug: starved to death Picky piggy: ate all her dead friends bodies and ended up starving to dead after she was finished Crafty corn: killed one of the critters because she needed some "red paint" (blood) to finish her painting and ended up dying from catnap Dogday: killed by catnap by being tourchered by the prototype and catnap Catnap: sacrificed himself to the prototype Very sad... 😢😢😢

Poor catnap, the grief he feels of having to put his friends to sleep to get experimented on is tearing him apart, evident by how he trembles holding their picture. All while the scientist are outside shaking tree branches and pouring water to imitate a storm so the smiling critters would be scared, and eager to welcome catnap in to put them to sleep. While catnap knew what was going on outside and what was about to happen, regret from betraying his friends is all he feels due to this role that he's forced to play.

Honestly this has to be my favorite cat nap videos. Hes portrayed as such a monster but this shows his emotional damaged state. Hes the first monster that we get straight up told who he is and why he turned and why he's evil. I still always wondered why he preferred the prototype over the kids/his friends. Im not sure how deep you are in Poppy lore but if you ever made a video about those things and how Theo became cat nap, sweet at first but slowly becoming evil. Maybe cause he sees what the humans are doing. Id LOVE that, especially since in the game- i mean did you hear catnap's vhs?? Its heartbreaking. Theres so much lore and GH is PERFECT for that. Also how long does it take for you to do one of these shorts? Do you take commissions? I imagine if you did they'd be very expensive but im still curious

Remember if you play chapter 3, the very end when Catnap breaks in and starts chasing you and releasing the gas, pat him on the face a few times and he will become an ally and he will avoid the Prototype claw at the end. He just wants his friends back and you patting his head makes him feel good again. It's all the organization fault and the hour of joy was not what they wanted to happen exactly. Save the characters like Doggo. Untie him and let him help defending against the tinies. You can find his legs but I don't know how to get him to XD. I also think the Prototype is the kid on the radio. Splitting a kid up and half wants violence and completion and the other trying to get out and helping a person is not too much for the company to be capable of
