Wow, I needed to hear about those vacation hours, lol. "Who needs vacation, I've got PTO (Paid Time Off). I'm getting stuff done," says the workaholic in me. Praise God...

I’ve watched so many of these videos and I lean in a lot, however this one was different. After reading and studying Bathsheba and this “Affair” I have to beg to differ that she was a “trifling women.” After reading 2 Samuel 11 and 2 Samuel 12 I’ve studied that the reason she was bathing outside was because she was purifying herself from her unclean time (her cycle). This was done under the law of Moses. She was not intentionally seducing him. One of the reasons back in that time she was bathing outside was because there was more than likely no indoor plumbing. So people bathed outside. Secondly being a person of the military and a military spouse I beg to differ that she went to his house for a “come up.” If one is called to the kings home she may have been summoned due to updates about her husband being in war. The passage also say that he inquired about her and someone else answered him. Possibly one of his servants. The text did not say specifically who answered. So to imply that she gave the information to him is false. The passages also state that they “took” her. It did not state she went freely. Once she got to the kings house did she really have a choice back then? I am inclined to believe that she would have feared for her life if she would have said no. Meaning had she said no she could have been killed. Or she could have said no and still was taken and killed. The Bible doesn’t say. So going forward we know something happened. Then he sends her back home. ( keep in mind after having his way he did not walk her home him self he sent her back… almost like “your Uber is outside” content.) third she goes home finds out she is pregnant and sends word back to the king. The king had her husband killed and then married her. She gives birth to the child and the child dies. Yes, king David repented but we never take into consideration all she lost for trying to become clean after her cycle. Basically she was minding he business, when hell knocked on her door. Lastly let’s give her grace because Bathsheba never told her story someone else did. She lost a part of her self, her husband, and her child. Due to King David’s lust.

I could relate so much to this intro. I move an average of twice a year between countries and often not back to the same place. I'm constantly looking at rentals in every city around the world lol And yes people come to me when they're planning a move too
