hey man youtube just recommend it me your channel and I like the pure training style videos, straight to the point. I just wonder some questions if you don't mind, how do you distribute your sessions throughout the week? how many power/finger strength sessions and how many overall training days during the week? do you suffer from recovery? cheers brother, hope you get your objevtivee!! stay tuned 🤙

Hey thanks for watching! I climb every other day. I really like my rest and I think it’s important for me:) I usually warm up on the finger board and that’s a good gauge for how I’m feeling. I don’t have a strict routine or schedule though I have struggled with progression because I like to climb for fun. I usually try and keep my session to max 2 hours so that I stay more focused and productive! Since I always have one day on, one day off I usually don’t struggle too much with recovery. I also try and sleep well and eat a lot:) hopefully that helps if you have any other questions maybe I can be of better service! Hope you have a lovely weekend!

5:50 I like to call these ‘finger jugs’. Seems to be the consensus.

Campusboard seems to be a weak point. Considering the other performances, 1-5-8 would be normal i think. 1-5-7 is way off thats for sure. How are you handling far moves in overhangs? which are common in the V13 range
@justpullfilms7 ай бұрын
Far moves are a real strong point for me! I’m very good with big moves… it’s the tight boxes that are tough! I think campus board power is impressive… but I think how that translates to climbing isn’t as relevant. I can campus overhanging boulders outside and in up to 7B so I’m not too worried… need to focus on my footwork

I noticed that your left half crimp position is way better than your right, on your right hand you index in strait and the rest are crimped, I'm not trying to give advice , but try and get your form right, it's really important when training

Chisel grip is some people's strongest grip. Not necessarily bad form but it depends what you're trying to achieve

Oooh thank you for the tip! I hadn’t noticed l😅🫡

I train a lot of open hand/three finger drag… but I guess I wasn’t trying to in this case🥲

i’m ngl imo i think your issues are mostly technical. Just some engagement stuff on the wall and your scalp positioning isn’t quite where it needs to be. You’re physically probably strong enough to climb V13 you just need to focus on technique and movement. That being said this is the only video of yours i’ve seen
@justpullfilms7 ай бұрын
Hey cheers! I have a video coming where I show off my lack of technique! It’s definitely where I’m struggling!
@amethyst83997 ай бұрын
@@justpullfilms in that case I definitely recommend you go watch the anatomy of the climb series on hooper's beta. They go super in depth about everything technical and it's a great resource.
