As someone who used to rap, you’re coming up with bars and lines in your head all day everyday… it’s not unfathomable to come up with a verse in 15-20 mins or even drop something off the dome… if that’s what you do as your literal occupation, it’s not that hard to let it fly when you hear a beat that you feelin
@andyward8430
@andyward8430 7 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s funny when you rap or write all the time you end up coming up with bars every time you hear an interesting word or concept. I haven’t written a real verse in close to ten years but still come up with slick little rhymes about nonsense all the time. It even bleeds into how your form sentences, it’s like your conversations start to have matching syllable counts and such.

I mean Cam would love to discredit Jay, but he’s already confirmed Jay laid it in 6 minutes & 1 take. How would he know the theme & direction of the record , including Cam & other shit that you couldn’t have prepared prior to the session. Sure Jigga probably had a template rhyme in his head & improvised on the spot as well

Cam said himself he invited Jay to do the song. So why would he have a verse pre prepared for that day (with his name incorporated) when that wasn’t initially on his agenda.

So if he had the verse already how he know what the song was about? How his verses match up with Cam on the back and forth in the second verse?! That syrup got Juelz gone 😂

This is cool and all for the older generation but I want to hear more questions about how did lil Wayne start fucking with dipset in the first place . Once he started messing with them his style( clothes and rapping) changed and he just blew up.

Gotta cap on LaRon 🚨 Cam said he scrapped what he had planned and wrote a verse 10 mins after Jay. He also said HE ambushed Jay to see how nice he really was; he names Cam twice and leads into the hook. Obviously, he's a great artist so believe what you want. Watch Fade to Black... 99 Problems, Dirk off Your Shoulder, etc. Watch The Throne Documentary shows the same thing.

Jay keeps verses ready, but a lot of heads swear he's writing in his head on the spot, no ,he's testing if what he has fit the beat. I used to hang around sean, he' use to trip out to Trenton pushing work.
