By law if a father is providing for a child and his taking care of his all responsibility of their child he also have the right of the child by 5050 custody of the child. The way the law does it is that during summer holidays, Christmas or school breaks are the only time judges give the parties especially the father option to make each party happy. If Shophia gets money from Davido to pay for Imade expenses then, he has right to get his own time with her too or if she doesn’t agree then, Davido should stop 🛑 spending, giving or any form of monetary assistance to Sophia period. 😡😡😡

Madam Tessy, the custody is applicable during a Break,(Xmas break, long vacations, summer vacations, etc). Courts always grants the Woman the custody until years of accountability , except the woman in question is proven to be unfit to be around the child ( eg drug addition, alcoholism, living with an unfit or abusive other man, etc). Exactly. Joint custody is not sole custody. Sophie is going to regret this, because it seems like he has completely washed his hands over this matter. Joint custody is not necessarily 50/50. It will be calculated based on what is achievable by each parents as long as both parents have equal say in the child's welfare. There is legal joint custody and physical joint custody. The first is both parents with have access to making decisions for the child in matters of schooling, medical concerns etc, while the other would be where the child lives. The physical custody can be decided by the court according to the parents' availability. Sophia can have Imade throughout the school year but Davido can have her for holidays, because of the nature of his travels. Sophia just wants to create a rift and bias in Imade's mind against Davido to show her as a sole provider for Imade. She is not a victim. Imade even wrote once that she missed her dad since her brother died. Davido was mourning the tragic death of his son and she allowed Imade to form that idea that she had been neglected because her brother died. That was a first reg flag for me from Sophia. It was her responsibility to explain to Imade the impact of grief and not post that child's text on social media. She has been petty for a while and using her daughter as a weapon. Is Davido a saint? We all know he is childish and she know this too. Unfortunately, she has been manipulative from the beginning of this situationship, she doesn't know when to stop. First, tricked him into getting pregnant and then now. If only she was truthful to herself when she saw the signs with all the baby mamas after her, she for don rest by now.
