Taking up serpents is not literal..it means God will protect you from them if they bite you..just like paul when he was bitten and he shook it in the fire

Faith Atwell Its a sign to unbelievers, how can being accidentally bit be a sign ?? Mark says And these signs SHALL FOLLOW those that believe.. Bible also says that in last days they would deny the power thereof, If the God that created the serpent lives in you i know that he has power over it, ive done seen to much to change my pentecostal/ Holiness mind!! Read mark 16:18 then flip over to Revelation 22: 18,19! Its close walk to make it.

I am a Holyghost FILLED believer and I will not tempt God by picking up a serpent! People die and when the rest of that scripture says they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover! why do they die??? I will tell you why..because they are not supposed to do it

Faith Atwell If you pray for someone sick and they dont get better do you quit believing in Gods Healing power?? Just like handling fire we believe in it also, why?? 3 Hebrew boys had victory over fire and that same jesus walks with the TRUE holiness believers! Nothing can hurt you if the annointing is on you!! My belief on ppl who are serpent bit and die, they handle by faith instead of waiting on anointing! Try fasting from food and drinkin anything for 2 days then day later go 2 more days and set your alarm at the hour you usually sleep best and get up and sacrafice that hour in prayer and continue fasting ever few days if your willing God will show you a true Holyghost!

Having the faith is where the victory is. Not whether you live or die but did you keep the faith until the end? With God all things are possible. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. So if you pick up a real serpent in faith that it can't harm you and it kills you then you kept the faith to end. Moses never got to the promised land but kept the faith until he was called home. Do you believe that Moses suddenly disbelieved in God's word when he could only look at the promised land after all that he went through to lead the people there?

Thank God for the sprit of holiness, there are three churches that are Holiness people Wesleyan Methodist ( not united) independent Baptist Churches, and pentecostal holiness non charismatic these three are different in ways but not much ,all three preaching live right do right act right, if you want blisters try a mountain independent Baptist Church brother they preach, the Wesleyan know for God's Bible college great people with old fashioned hymns ,same for independent Baptist , pentecostal holiness good people ,praying people, some has departed from hymns of faith holy ghost writer such as blessed assurance, and a rock n roll style music has came in from about 1990 till now but Claude Ely , havis Crawford were great preachers who sang the old hymn keep on the firing line, I remember I was there some of the new Holiness music has gotten wild fleshly, now the old Nazarene state over see and pastor lb hicks preached camp meeting in Ashland KY 1957 the song hold fast to the right buddy the holyghost was powerful as he preached the sprit of truth ,I wish to thank these young people for the song brought back memories, to s old timer may God bless you and I'm one of them
