Lots of comments presuming WW3 means nuclear war (even though I mention this in the video) WW3 doesn’t necessarily mean nuclear war. Fuel, cyberwar, food. It doesn’t have to be nuclear. Russia moves more troops into Europe. Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia. None of that means immediate nuclear war, but gets NATO involved. There’s a lot of scenarios that could play out. Nuclear war is the end game.

I conceder myself an organized person until I began prepping . At first not too bad but started putting one thing here another there until no more there . Bought wire racks for the basement 2 then 2 more . Items on the bed in the guest room . Than more items- wow Bought some totes and started to fill them taking inventory ( need to know whats in them ) Six of them filled . More on the bed now . Still buying more preps -when is this going to end -7 years now . Could probably live more than 1 year without leaving my house . Am I alone ?

Same here. I have stuff all over the house, under beds, etc. BUT I know that we can survive the winter if needed. At least if the grid drops. I have options.

Great video. Watching from Florida. We have been preparing for a while now. Would love to see more, please do another video about it when you get your next haul! Thanks for sharing this. I feel the best thing we can do as civilians is to take care of ourselves so that we’re ready for any emergency. Also it’s cool to see what preps look like in the UK!

Yup, gonna get some dried goods, canned goods and plenty of water! Also meds, loo rolls, cat food, wind up radios etc I stocked up a few years back too and eventually didn’t need to so all the excess cans and packets went to family and food banks. It doesn’t hurt to be prepared 😊 Best, Julie 🎉

Things that fall over quickly as they rely on 'just in time' supply - Cashpoints / petrol stations / supermarkets. Remember what happens in a power outage/cut and what relies on electricity (utility services of all types). Communication also important - mobiles may fail, radio may still be ok. If you live in real rural areas a lot of this prepping already happens because of flooding and snow etc. Longest time without power was 7 days in the middle of winter. It readjusts whats important to you.

You got a good start, just need more organization. I would also suggest putting the food in secure totes. I've been prepping for many years. My family would be fine for +1 year with food, medicine and household supplies. Our big issue is water. We only have 30 days of water stored. Currently living in a desert climate so no natural water source.

Keep an eye on Iran. If it kicks off out there there is likely to be disruption to fuel supply and if they close the strait of Hormuz lots of important stuff will not be getting moved about to the west. My figure is that for preps you want long term survivability not your regular meals less the rump steak. Think compact, very long lasting and very nutritious. Rice, pref white, beans and oily fish, like sardines that will essentially get you all the necessary nutrients apparently. I myself have a store of multi vitamins. Yep I do have tinned stuff, dried mashed potatoes, pasta and dried milk for the tea but long term I expect that will run out before too long, I will just have to bite down on that one. For water, get a tarp and some 25 litre jerry jugs for collection and storage. add a water filter and/or purification tabs. If you have a house where you can rig the gutters to drain into a barrel that would be great but you will need a filter for sure if you do this. For hygiene get a bowl and a face cloth, you really should not need to be washing in that precious water everyday, Your body is more than capable of keeping itself in order.

Thanks for posting matey! You asked for tips so I will add a few. Obtain a water filter of some sort. Lifestraw, Sawyer water filter etc... A pencil sharpener. The large kind. Usually for women's eyeliner pencils. Great for making kindling. Take a small twig or whatever will fit, and sharpen it like a pencil. This will sound worse than it is, but listening to your video, you sound knackered and out of breath all the time. Try to walk everyday. Brisk walking is as effective as jogging. Get your wind up. If it's all going pear shaped, you need to be able to double the amount of energy expenditure that you are doing now. Again thanks for taking the time to post.

@@Ali-prepper Totally agree with this. And it’s crazy how the body adapts to new situations like this. I think that one meal a day is a perfectly fine intake, as long as it has nutrition. Maybe supplemented with a handful of nuts throughout the day, or something small like that.

Hello from New Zealand. I bugged out from the UK 30 years ago. Been preparing more seriously since about 2010. Couple of things to mention. Britain grows less than 50% of the food it needs. (AND Starmer wants to shut down family run farms!) If a war breaks out the food supply coming in from Europe and elsewhere will be severely affected/rationed. My approach is a minimum of 6 months of long-term food, but I also have a well-stocked veggie garden, fruit and nut trees and berry bushes. NZ grows enough food to feed the whole country about 10 times over, BUT the problem here will be transport logistics because we have no fuel independence, so there will be no petrol or diesel to power trucks etc to get the product from where it's grown to where it's needed. I figure that if things kick off just before winter, I have 6 months grace to get my garden producing more than it is now as it will be my sole source of food and any extra can be either preserved to use the following winter or used to barter with other survivors. If you can keep your supplies hidden for a month after SHTF most of the population will be either dead or weak from starvation - except for those who have prepared, so you will have a better chance of survival than lots of other Brits. Keeping off the radar of those desperate for food is vital. If they smell food cooking....or see a light on at your place at night when everywhere else is dark...expect a crowd at your door. Safety in numbers is key. Don't try to "lone wolf" it. Gather a group of like-minded people. Start with friends and family and expand from there. We started our group during Covid and have a core of 20 with others on the fringes. I like the crossbow, but if a mob of looters go house to house...how fast can you reload? However, if things go nuclear....all bets are off. Only saw your channel for the first time today.....and yes, I've hit the like button and subscribed. All the best.

I was born in the USSR, so we always have stuff stuffed at homes- because when you go to the shop- nothing was there, sometimes nothing at all… and maybe it will be useful to you-things that I’m hoarding are: Salt, sugar, tea, some water (in case of emergency), coffee, oil, whatever pasta , rice, flour, baking soda- great stuff also to wash your dishes, condensed milk, toothpaste and soap, bit of rolls😂 , canned beans, fish , basic vitamin c , ibuprofen and long life milk. Matches, some cash, chocolate bars and digestive biscuits. Keep your garden if have one with some veg, not only flowers)) and also some kind of dry bread or crackers, yeast and bit of 40% alcohol. Nuts are good too.hopefully won’t need any 😅

I recommend a box of maxi-pads. They are fast and efficient in an emergency situation where someone is losing blood. You can tape them right onto skin or wrap them with an Ace bandage. Granted, they aren't sterile, but they are clean and reasonably safe. Try to get unscented. If you have menstruating women in your household, they will need supplies. I was reading the comments and may have missed some of the items in your stash. Do you have chicken and beef broth powder? It's very warming and provides some salt and electrolytes when energy is low. Also good for sick people. Some vitamins (especially the powdered kind to make water a little more interesting) are useful. Another thing -- if you stash new boots or footwear of any kind, make sure to wear them and break them in a little before storing them away. You'll want them to be comfortable when you need them. Extra socks are always good. Duct tape, electrical tape, and Flexi-tape are all useful items too. I live very remotely in the jungle. I have to prepare for every rainy season as there are times I cannot leave my property to cross the river to any of civilization. Over the years, I've gotten pretty good at ensuring I have what I need when things go awry. I didn't see -- some good tarpaulin/heavy cloth or canvas is useful. I use rechargeable lights almost exclusively, and I have a small but decent stash of rechargeable tools I can charge with my solar power plants. Also, a 12-volt car-style fridge uses much less power than a conventional household fridge, and they aren't very expensive. I have a small gas generator (a 1400-watt Heomati) mainly to charge the solar generators in the event it is overcast for days. It's very economical and uses only a pittance of gasoline. I have one 300-watt solar power plant for small appliances, an older 800-watt, and a large Bluetti that is my main workhorse. I'm guessing you have a solar shower. Staying clean and reasonably hygienic matters a lot. On that note, a black hose in the sun can get very hot, even in cooler temperatures. The max I've been without power was 17 days and I've had no water for 22 days. In summer, I regularly experience power outages for up to a week. I've learned a lot about my particular needs. It doesn't hurt to do a trial run and cut power to your house for a few days to test out what you've got and how it all works. You'll learn a lot, probably organize differently, and be able to fill in the gaps that are pertinent to your situation. Keep one bin with your top go-to items. Some food, water, and basics. Having everything neatly organized is less important than having a go-to box of top needs to give yourself a little time to think through what comes next. Edited to add some clarification and correct two grammar errors. (Sorry this is long -- I have a lot of experience.)

Morning Chris🌞 Got to ask where the light has gone? Take solace from the fact that it takes a mad man to talk to a mad man. The USA are posturing and we, like the last Labour govt. are getting all over excited at the chance to play with the big boys. At some point we'll figure out what this was really all about, but its not for people like you and me. Live in your own bubble mate. Do what makes you happy; and if this is what makes you feel secure then it's all good. My Grandma lived on an isolated farm during WWII with 4 kids to bring up on her own. She taught me to be prepared for anything. My cupboards always look like this anyway. So no special prep. Necessary. Whatever the future holds, it's not ours to see. Just live a good life every day and be the best person you can. There will always be things we don't know and can't predict❤

World gone crazy. Top of the list water, filtration, purification and collection. Consider bulk water maybe large food grade barrels or ibc totes. I like 3 and 5 gallon containers or buckets in case you need to fetch some on foot. I have a Red Ryder wagon for carrying. I didn’t see any Mylar bags. Rice or beans (I prefer lentils) in Mylar with oxygen absorber placed in sealed bucket last a long time. I didn’t notice cooking oil you have, ghee has a long shelf life. Also, buy foods that you normally eat. If not buy one to try and if the family likes it buy more. Consider backups like two can openers for example. And try out things ahead of time so you have no surprises. We have a backup to our propane stove, a kerosene stove that I need to show my wife how to use. We still need to do some meal planning too. Pet food if you have them. Also a bug out bag(s). If you have to make a run for it one for each member of the family. Good luck

Kris, a very handy and probable essential item you may have not of thought of or mentioned would be to purchase a wind up radio. I would assume before it got to the state of having the 3 min warning and the worlds toasted its more likely internet, electronics, communications would be the first thing to be interfered with. These radios are cheap to buy, most are solar powered as well as having a torch etc. Ive had one stored for years as well as a leatherman, two fire steels , cotton wool, radish (ready to eat four weeks from germination) and rocket seeds and four cans of stella in a bag :)

Couple things Kris: I mark with a sharpie pen 'use by' or expiration date on the top of all canned items and long term storables like pasta. That way I can see at a glance which items to use first and keep rotating stock. I keep at least 5 x 5 lb bags of long grain rice on hand at all times. Same with dry beans (after putting them in the deep freezer for at least 2 weeks to kill off any potential wee beasties lurking within). Also....call me crazy but I keep a case of cheap whiskey (glass bottles only) on hand. I don't drink but in a pinch that shit would be solid gold to barter. Same deal (for me here in USA) with .22 caliber long rifle ammo. Excellent barter item. One should also be saving heirloom seeds for things like tomatoes and cucumbers. Just my $.02 worth. And...Oh...learn how to hunt and fish.

I came to dread pallets/cages of dried and tinned food stuffs, that had been in long term storage by the donating Supermarkets, Example; unsold Christmas stock that was still in date (Best before with dried/tinned goods. Not Use by; which is perishable, usually refrigerated stuff that can give food poisoning. IE, dairy/meat/fish/ and bread) Anyway, I'd unwrap a pallet/cage and the first thing that hit me was the smell. And then a hundred mice would run out and scatter in the warehouse. I tried refusing deliveries of long term storage, but the management bollocked me! Maybe get a cat or a terrier dog? If you haven't already? New here, cheers.

We've always done so, if only because we always seem to get ill from the kids bringing all kinds of bugs home with them, and having a stock of stuff means we don't need to go out if people are feeling shite. Just get a stock and rotate it, it's not like stockpiling tonnes. If you want more stuff, try getting to a Costco or similar, then you can get sacks of rice/pasta/lentils etc etc. It's cheaper than a supermarket and lasts forever.

@@Addictedtobleeps Ham radio for communication in worst case as there wont be a network! You can get them cheap from Ali for £20-30 but you can't transmit without a license but in the worst case, that won't matter. Tape and plastic roll to seal any air gaps in your home to stop fall out, you won't or shouldn't go out for at least 2 weeks to let the fall-out to settle. Spam as it will last 25 years plus and is dirt cheap (Well was) I could go on but it will take forever to type! Just give me a shout if you want to chat about it all!

Good advice Kris. Worth considering is the fact that supermarkets now only have three days of food stocks, so we are only 12 meals away from anarchy!!!!! Don't advertise what you have stashed away too much as those who haven't will gladly take from those who have. Cash will be king as the electronic money systems will be the first thing to go down in the event of the SHTF. Remember Oddie's needs. Even if sanity prevails, you can still use up what you have put away and by then food prices will have risen anyway, so you will have saved money. Check to see if your County has a 'Preparedness' website, here in Staffordshire we have 'Staffordshire Prepared' which has some good sound advice. Finally, always have a PLAN B, C, D, and even more. Never assume, never expect, hope for the best but plan for the worst. Stay safe.

@@Addictedtobleeps thanks Kris. Keep the videos coming. Another point to consider is we in Britain and most of Europe get most of our gas indirectly from Russia ........ so ONE MAN has the power to turn off gas supplies for Europe, scary. But Kris, I do know you are a sensitive person, so don't over think this, and don't let it mess with your head. Do what you can with what you've got, and just look after your loved ones.

The animals get forgotten about, but @donnamartin4299 is right, concentrate on your own 'little bubble' I do what I can where I can, with the rest? well in my case I pray for them, it works for me Kris, but each of us has to find our own way. 2ltrs water per day, per person , and ideally carry 1 month supply. You'll be using a lot of it with your dry goods that need hot/boiling water to prepare. Wouldn't hurt to have some water Purification tablets etc So if lecky/gas is out, how you going to boil that water? Bottled Gas/Fuel, camping stove, ... THREE FORMS of starting fire.

Always good to be prepared. If that's all the water you've got stocked, might want to add some more. You have lots of dry goods that have to be cooked with water. I've just started canning food this year, and like a dummy it took someone pointing out that in an emergency all my dry beans wouldn't do me a lick of good if the water was cut 😂🤦‍♀️ duh...so just something to think about. Generations before us typically had extra supplies since they either lived in, or had been through rough times. The fact is we’ve had it really easy for the last few decades and now people refuse to believe that things can go very wrong, very quickly. Here in the states, even our Federal Emergency Management Agency recommends having at LEAST 3 days food and water as a minimum. Considering government response time during more ‘mundane’ catastrophes, it would be wise to have extra just for that reason. Will WW3 come? Likely at some point, because man is man and war is basically inevitable. Don’t forget backup charging for the detector! 😂
