The past 5 years have been amazing and I'm so thankful for all of you following my aviation journey. After much thought I've made the decision to leave the industry and shift my focus to my real estate business in order to keep soaring to my full potential. I love aviation dearly but I must make this change in life to keep leveling up and in order to get to my ultimate goal of owning a fleet of jets one day. I look forward to your continued support in my new endeavors.
Let's make dreams a reality!

Feeling stagnant at the level of a G650 pilot was probably because you jumped up to that level so fast at such a young age when most will work years & years towards that goal as a professional pilot. I imagine getting that kind of job at just 21 would make one feel like they've completed corporate aviation

Congrats man, I’m actually doing the exact opposite. I bought and sold properties and rentals and made great money but ultimately decided I wanted to follow a dream I always had to be a commercial pilot so I sold one of my rentals to pay for school. Still have some other properties though so if it doesn’t work out I don’t have to start all over lol. I know a lot of the big fish in the OKC market so reach out if you want some solid contacts.

I’m reminded of Jonny Kim who was a Navy Seal, Astronaut, and Medical Doctor. He could have settled for any one of those careers and be considered successful. But he wanted more out of life and wasn’t afraid to write the next chapter in his life. At least you had the balls to walk away on your own terms. A lot of disgruntled pilots who lost their passion for aviation aren’t as courageous.

Same thing here man, been a flight instructor since 18, got my ATP at 23 and flown regionals, now at 27 and having had airlines playing so much with us during COVID I left aviation (despite hundreds of thousands spent on flight training, bachelor and master in aeronautics and so on), and opened a privacy trees company that honestly gives me probably 10 times what I was making. @@Hedgeflexlfz Well first, keeping the CFI serves several puposes. It is a good way to stay current. It is keeps a window open for a comeback. Most CFIs value this certificate, if not only for the hard work it took to get it. It could be a nice hobby, and a supplementary source of income. It’s easy to keep, an easy online eFIRC course every two years. There are a lot of students looking for independent instructors, instead of instructors at a pilot mill. They often find better instruction this way.

@@zakups7777 IDK the fun of flying sort of went away, it became more of a chore than anything else. Best of luck! One word of advice: owning a business can also be very timeconsuming... Manage your time carefully! In my job I’ve seen lots of entrepreneurs that are fully consumed by their business and work like eighty hours a week. I saw plenty of broken relations in that department as well... So again: manage your time, because family and good relations with your partner and children is worth more than anything else...
