What pet sim 99 did that was the sole reason why on first day it peaked around 400k players was because of the side-quests, the obby, the economy, the clan battles. They didn’t focus on that. Just added new items and new worlds some boring event. It’s clear that the main focus is money and the gambling addiction.

I don't understand why they want to make all huges difficult to get. The RNG event was SO popular bc it gave everyone a great chance at getting huges. People LIKE hatching huges.. shocker. I think giving ppl ways to EARN huges could work. Huges that aren't tradeable so it limits it and no one can get scammed or anything. They could do so much with the game. There's so much potential

This acctually might be one of my favourite videos from you of all time. I really agree with you too. Pet simulator 99 has really. REALLY lost its fun in the year its been out. As a F2P player myself, it took me from the start of the game ro october to get a huge. And to this day its still the only huge in my name, however. In pets go! Its really fun and entertaining. I like to afk while i sleep and be excited to wake up and see what i got! And it just makes me have goals in mind and really fun challanges / games with my friends! In my opinion, the only thing that can save PET Simulator is like this Make a new game Everyone transfers their stuff just like before But this time it will be a little different from the last game This time the RAP will work like PET SIMOLTOR X according to the rarity of the animals and their quantity in the game. And I also have solutions to common problems in the last game 1. Filling the index is not possible? In Pet Simulator 99 it was simply not possible and that's why in the next game they need to make it logical without the need to get everything possible in the game and focus only on animals and books for the sake of it 2. Are there too many HUGE PETS and is it making the game confusing? Add the option to choose if you want to see only the new HUGE PETS or also the old ones that are no longer obtainable 3. Too many areas? Add 7 areas to each world that we can remember and enjoy and feel nostalgic about in the future and not 250 areas that we won't remember half of 4. Can't you be on the same server with your friends? Fix it so that we don't move every world to a different server, these are all worlds on the same server 5. Boring updates? Every month, one update that adds new things to the game itself, not just an event What does it add? It adds new mechanics, animal types, excitement for the update, and that the game doesn't die quickly because it fills up 6. Is the game too P2W? Don't add a Forever Pack to the new game, and don't exaggerate with the prices of the gamepass (cough cough, the gamepass for the double stars or the super drop) And most importantly, listen to the game's community and don't just focus on their money

They need to add a co op quest/mission based update that has drop rates/chances for super rare items or pets. And the quest should be immersive and require a minimum amount of 5 players to do it. Something that makes it difficult for bots to do. And easy for real players to do together if they work hard together. Also players should have to take on rolls as a pet dmg dealer. And lucky roller. A gem gatherer. Drop collector. And a buffer. That way enchantments become extremely relevant again. Pets become more important/valuable/desirable and the items to be able to participate in the quest should be obtainable by everyone but untradeable. Pet sim has so much potential. I just feel like the devs are becoming lazy and so narrow minded. Tunnel vision like. They are so lazy that they follow trends instead of trying to innovate and create new ideas. It’s a bit frustrating to see it happening since I’m a really big pet sim fan./ player.

The reason why I stopped playing was the economy. When ps99 came out it was Actully possible to get huges and maybe a titanic. But know it seems like only the rich gets huges and the f2p can’t get anything unless you grind for days to get one huge. I’ve played the pet sim games for about 3 years now and I didn’t get anywhere close to a titanic.

I'm a trader and the economy is just so dry and boring. Huges are way too easy to get because all you need is 30m gems to get one. I remember trading during inflation which was fun because it always happens unexpectedly. But now all you need to do is grind 1 day for a huge. F2P players may like Huges being easy but they will actually realize how unfun the game gets the more huges you have. Which is why many KZbinrs aren't excited after getting a huge. I wish the devs would stop trying to do events to deflate gems and honestly buff the gems you get in the last area. As gems are harder to get nowadays by afk farming as a f2p. But Big Games never listen to their community.

I honestly miss inflation, it was the best time to gain easy profit. Nowadays, people in the pro trading plaza don't want low-tier and mid-tier huges because they aren't rising at all and they fluctuate a lot which can ruin profits. At least high tier and titanics rise and drop. They ruined the economy so badly with the events they keep producing (especially rng event.)

Hey Nightfox! If you are quitting pet sim 99 I just wanted to recommend a game called Bee Swarm Simulator. It's a really fun and cool game where you manage your own beehive and use your bees to collect pollen. As you progress, you can upgrade to better backpacks and tools. It can be a little grindy at times, but the good news is there’s not a lot of pay-to-win stuff involved, so it stays pretty fair for everyone. I think you'd really enjoy it! Honestly I feel like the P2W & the forever pack killed the game. I only get on to get my huge daycare pets and to play the newest update (day of release) for a few hrs. Lack of diamond making. You must be in the last area to make the most diamonds..the grind is too much. Lack of updates and super repetitive updates. Copy and paste pets (PS99/PetsGo) Takes too long to get a huge. I still don't have my first titanic. I got my first huge on PSX for free. You have to pay irl money to get a huge. So Much more. Oh botted lobbies. Cheaters Exploiters Devs rewarding exploiters CLAN BATTLES. Do much more.

I don’t actually use twitter so I’ll just say it here. Ever since Pet Sim 99 released, I didn’t like it. Why? Because the fact that you could transfer pets from the old game made it already feel pointless to complete. The fact that those same pets have been added to the index just made it so much less enjoyable, as the index was one of the only reasons I played Pet Sim X. The only reason why I kept playing until the tech world was because I could barely keep up with the updates while not having to play 24/7. The tech world set a new bar that I immediately noticed and just gave up on the spot, as it took way too long to get a new area and after grinding for an hour I could only hatch around 50 of the first egg. Lastly, even with VIP, it takes way too long for me to get only 100k diamonds just by grinding and it’s practically impossible to get diamonds unless I sell my best items which aren’t even that good. Pet Sim 99 can be enjoyable to F2P players *only if* they spend their entire day grinding things. I like to have a steady pace and not have to worry about falling behind, which is something that game does not care about, which is why I left.

As someone who played psx and ps99 from day one, it is just as non friendly as psx. No one talked while breaking the huge chests like you claim. They left an auto clicker on and went to do something else. The only time people talked in either game was to beg for pets or ask if someone was trading something they couldn’t find in a booth, exactly the same as ps99

WHEN I STARTED PET SIM X I GOT RLLY HAPPY PLAYING WITH IT I MADE ALMOST 100 FRIENDS IN IT PERSONALLY I WOULD NOT REALLY CARE IF ITS PAY 2 WIN ALL I WANT IS THAT PET SIM X SHOULD CONTINUE EVERY PET SIM X UPDATES WERE REALLY FUN UNLIKE PET SIM 99 WHEN ITS UPDATED I GET BORED OF IT IN SECONDS I WISH I REALLY WISH THAT PET SIM X IS BACK EVER SINCE PET SIM 99 STARTED I SLOWLY STARTED GIVE UP ON IT AND NOW I ALR GAVE UP MONTHS AGO PEOPLE WHO AGREE WITH ME WE NEED PET SIM X BACK COMMENT ME IF YALL AGREE WITH ME THAT PET SIM X SHOULD CONTINUE

F2P worked for me, almost 90 HUGEs now... 10 Happy computers, 2 from Good vs Evil update, 3 from Backrooms, sold hacker key enchant when it was worth 1b, 7 from RNG days, got 8 from recent Halloween update, 3x Toy Chest Mimic this week, bought COUNTLESS Huge pets with exclusive daycare gems...

psx was peak of pet sim , imo ps99 died because when it came out they allegedly said it'd be f2p friendly, that didn't last long though

I think they should start bi weekly updates and make a new pet sim. Then make the new pet sim bi weekly also.

I really loved ps99, and even after the release of pets go I still tried to play. Then when the "Stand in line for a huge" update came, I tried to play it. Ofc all of the servers I joined where full of bots. I'm starting to wonder if ps99 is still playable if yk yk

I like it, but I do agree it was nice working together to break chests etc like you did in X. P2W is insane and pets go and that game isn't as appealing to me. I think if they came out with more epic looking pets would help 99 so much.

I have been playing since the start of psx and it’s been a classic for me I stopped playing roblox for a bit and now I’m back and playing ps99 and it’s already starting to die , a lot of my life has been dedicated to simulator genres so I hope that big games pushes through and ps99 doesn’t die because it just need one full push with all their new devs they need to make some good stuff right?. Anyways I am sad that it might be dying because some players including me don’t like the ring type games so please ps99 don’t die and you night fox have been making these videos since the start iv been here with you all troughtout the years I remember when u first plays in the Halloween event

i spent 3 weeks of constant hatching and going to the trading plaza for potions to get 0 huges, i also have luck gamepasses and i feel scammed

Best solution to balance free to play and pay to win players is what Warframe does with platinum. You can only get platinum if you buy it with real money or if you trade it. Also you can purchase everything with platinum in warframe! Make diamonds in Pet sim only available by trading or make a new currency for it. and make everything available in the exclusive shop with it.

I thought of giving a free, non tradeable huge that you could get as a rebirth reward and you could paint it so its unique and for your liking. Basically you could get a paint brush and paint it with a set of templates.
