As an Athletic fan I would advise you to slightly change the Nico clause, because some of our players have a high standard of loyalty and have reiterated that they won't leave for higher wages or a better chance at winning trophies (like Unai Simón himself). This players-fans relationship is also a big part of what makes us unique, and certainly an important reason for Nico deciding not to leave this summer, and that's why imo this clause wouldn't be necessarily realistic as it stands. Either way it's an honour that you take this challenge and I'm gonna be enjoying this series a lot

That last clause isn’t always realistic. Basque players are among the most loyal, the player you mentioned literally decided to stay over moving to Barca. Just put it to release clause or when player reaches close to 90 overall

Don’t sell Unai since he didn’t leave IRL. I also think you should keep Iñaki AND Sancet. Iñaki basically turned down every big club to stay, and Sancet has a contract until 2032 (I think), so he is most likely staying pretty much until he retires

I have a great career mode Team:Dynamo Dresden League:Bundesliga 3 Budget:3.6m This is a great career mode bringing a team with great fans into Europe after many years of playing try to aim for promotion in the first season and try to maintain a good place in the 2nd Bundesliga and slowly work up to the 1st division in the first season I loaned in a ST and GK ST:Nathan Opoku GK:Will Dennis this will create heavy competition making it much harder to play with many players either on loan or many players they have some older side players being Philip Heiße and Stefan Kutschke being the only 30+ aged players this makes it very fun having some older generation players next work on youth academy and scouts promoting young German players mainly LB and CDM this making future positions easy to not replace and try get as much youth players in making this a great rebuild hopefully you see this and put it on a video 😊

Just a little nitpick! I don’t want to be that guy but please it would be very nice if you could refrain from calling us Bilbao. We know it’s the name of our beautiful city and we love it, but it is not the name of our team, just the place it’s from. We had a bit of beef with Simeone last year cause he just wouldn’t call us Athletic haha. Again, it’s just a little nitpick that would be nice, thanks!

release clauses are mandatory in spain and when athletic sell a big player it’s basically always their release clause value. you could adapt to nico clause to take into account the real life release clauses instead.

So long as you can find at least a half decent replacement for Simon for the season, it might be a fun and realistic challenge to let him go. If you can get Kepa next season when his loan runs out then you don't have to worry long term: just a matter of trying to get through the season

Idk what the name pool is like for YA this year, but there's never been more than 5-6 Basque names and 2-3 surnames, so checking each scouting report on Chat Gpt is waste. You typically find more Basque names among regens. Iker, Unai, Aitor, Iñaki, Xabi and Ander are all pretty common names that I think are in the game. I wouldn't worry too much about surnames. The only unrealistic name or surname would be something like Humberto, which is not a thing for people under retirement age.
