This is getting more and more exciting with each one I watch. Even more exciting than the flying round the world. I feel.

You'll enjoy the comfort of the recumbent trike for all day riding. I found my Whike, a road legal land yacht, was when I sailed and peddled it 600 miles up the UK. One thing to be aware of is it will require different leg muscles to an ordinary bicycle. If you have the option of switching between trike and bike that may be something you can take advantage of.

I cannot believe i am just watching this.... As a travelling triker... I am so excited to catch up! I met you at VIDCON a few days ago and was a bit star struck! JaYoe Louis!... i am about to take the journey with you!

Hope you've eaten some of those snack bars over the span of a few days at home if you're going to be consuming it every hour on the trip. If not, you have no idea how your stomach will react, possibly leaving a brown trail all the way to North Africa.

Hey Louis! You have totally convinced me that this type of bike could be really cool to own! After seeing the way you are going to "pimp it out" I could see how awesome it would be for vlogging! I've thought about how good the GOPRO Fusion 360 would work installing it on the inside center of my converted school buses windshield so while we are filming our travel vlogs I can talk to the camera while I'm driving and it will also film the scenery out of the windshield at the same time. I'm just not sure how good the scenery would look since it has to film through the windshield.. I think it might be worth a shot though! Thanks again for the awesome ideas man! By the way, your Dad seems really cool!

Louis, I know the bike fitting seems awkward at first but over a long ride, having a thin saddle and all the other measurements they made for you will be better.
@singlemalt19726 жыл бұрын
Yep - big mistake is people think padding a seat = comfort, but it couldn't be further from the truth.

That bike is way harder to ride than a proper bike for such a trip. It has 3 wheels, 3 touching points, friction is higher. Not to mention the seated position is the worse when you have to go uphill (fun on downhill though :) ). He won't be able to keep up, but surely he can finish it, even if it takes double the amount of time. Good luck Louis!

if i were you i wouldnt mount your phone to the helmet. what if you fall? the pole would be the first thing to make contact with the floor or whatever and twist the helmet in a way which could seriously hurt you. try finding a different mounting point i.e. the bikes handle or maybe some rig you can attach to your upper body. just remember to stay safe and best of luck with your trip ;)

Louis, I don’t think those trek bars are very nutritionally dense. No essential vitamins. Please be sure to take a multivitamin everyday or check out clif builder bars. Loaded with protein and vitamins A, C, iron and calcium. Don’t forget the b12 as well! Best of luck, take care. ✌️

If you have the standard gearing, you are going to find it brutal for climbing any hills with a load. Easiest solution is to change your small front chain ring to a 24/26 tooth. These tips might help - mid-islandadventures.weebly.com/buying-guide.html
