I'm a Russian and why does this apartment building seems so familiar? 6:45 - The thing with a star is a very famous (in post-Soviet countries) medicine called "Gold Star Balm" invented in 1954 in Vietnam. It's basically for ill throat and runny nose. The blue-white thing, called "Belomorkanal", next to Gold Star is a soviet cigarettes. This cigarettes is also on the top of the TV. 7:49 - It's a sweet condenced milk. 11:51 - It's a bad soundproofing in Soviet apartment buildings so people used to hang a carpet on the wall for better sound isolation. You can still find it in many old apartments in Russia and other post-Soviet countries. The title of the book on the couch is "Developing of rocket science and cosmounautics in USSR". Stalin's chest on the bookshell. 18:33 - I can be wrong but it's looks like Chernobyl on the photo. 1:03:01 - the little jar next to the kettle says "pickled nettle".

This game was developed by Russian guy as far as I know. Also this is typical building. Kinda reminds me of apartment building there my father's parents used to live. Although rooms in the different order of course.
