Seeing the scenes where Michael is dating Carol the real estate agent are a little surreal knowing that the actress playing her is his real life wife. It's fun to see your reaction to the series so far. Reminds me of when I saw it the first time and really got invested in the characters and story.

She's been engaged with Roy for three years, they were together for a long time before that and it was terribly toxic. It would've be totally unrealistic for anyone but specially for a character like Pam, who at that moment was in a pretty bad place with herself to throw all she had know out and admit to Jim that she loved him too. First she had to admit it to herself. There's a little detail that I love: After the confession, she looks down at her ring and she touch it, like if it's "heavy". She wants to, but she can't and thats a reminder of that. Those little things make this show just simply perfect.

Hopefully you've picked up on the fact by now that Pam has very little to zero self confidence. Like extremely low. Also really weird you're advocating for her to cheat on her fiance while she's really just doing the right thing here.
