With everyone else. :). Sometimes you have to repeat a point to go down a different mental path, so it's part of the process of being a reactor. I don't know about everyone else, but as someone who consumes reactions, I value finding that rare gem of information or context that makes the work meaningful in a slightly different way. Each reactor has their own context to add, and that's all you, man. As long as you're authentic, you're doing it exactly right. The second huge reason to watch reactions is that it's difficult to watch a piece multiple times and keep the feeling of watching it for the first time fresh. There are Ren songs that make me cry EVERY time. But for a lot of songs, what you are gifting to us is seeing them fresh from your eyes, allowing their power to renew for us. Apathy is the only reaction that's wrong (to me), for a Ren song. You're awesome, man. Try not to worry about the technical. I know it's a hassle for you, but for me it was a fade to black and then you're back. Done and dusted in half a second and didn't even register as a blip. You explained and moved on. Ren has definitely got more musical talent in his little finger than so many A-list musicians. Those who have writers for their music, choreographers and videographers for their videos, and stylist for their look. Ren just jumps out of nowhere with his buddy Sam and kills it.

Our favourite sick boi is pure authenticity and fire 🔥 He has been through hell and he has turned it all into art that helps other people. I think a perfect follow up to this track is one of my personal favourites that doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it deserves: Crutch feat. Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease. If Sick Boi is an expression of the built up frustrations from being misdiagnosed for years, Crutch is the earlier fear when getting sick and not knowing what is happening to you. The song is also very different from everything else in his catalogue 🐰🕳️

@ if you find yourself with a little time and want to hear one amazing story, check out the chapters. You can find them on rens KZbin channel in the “troubles playlist” there are 8 chapters. Each is a sitdown with Ren just sharing his story. Where better to get it that the horses mouth so to speak. It’s quite remarkable just a warning tho at the end of each there is a song so just skip them and we can all watch them together. After the chapters, “troubles live and acoustic” would be a great react to discuss them as they are a summary of some of the key points from the chapters.

The medical gaslighting Ren experienced is devastating. He talks about it elsewhere. He was told his actual physical illness & symptoms (undiagnosed Lyme) was just his mind making himself sick. Such harm by terrible doctors & mental health pros. His physical illness was psychologized into making him think he was crazy, putting him on the wrong meds & getting terrible side effects. For years & years, while his real disease was running wild in his system, causing likely permanent damage he's still dealing with.

Essentially this is a live recording. I am using a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 as a webcam and using OBS to interlace with the video and sound and its all recorded together. What seems to happen is the webcam just occasionally freezes and screen goes black.

I don't think doc's careless is a fault of system. I think it's a sample of professional deformation. Pure psychology: as a doctor you can't care about every patient passing through your cabinet every day, for a years. At some moment of career people in your cabinet become just pieces, subjects of you work as burnout kicks in

Thanks for the feedback, the one thing I will say is that they are 100% first time, I wont even restart a video when I have the issues to ensure its still fresh. Having strong ADHD often means I jump the gun, pre-empt things and am pretty quick ( I just blurt things out without thinking) Last thing I want to do is make people believe that my reactions are pre-meditated, false or in anyway designed to deceive.
