All the best with the shift in direction mate - none of us have a endless supply of time or resources so it's important to put the majority of them into what helps you continue to grow. When starting out as a web designer we often take on any and every project as a means of necessity, getting to the point that you're at where you've grown your brand to the point where you can be selective about taking on only projects that appeal to you is a remarkable achievement. I don’t see seo going anywhere anytime soon. If anything it will become more essential as the web will be full of ai generated content that people don’t want to see. So ranking quality/personalized content will be essential!

As I also make SMMA content geared towards freelancers and helping them land clients You do a mix of both on your channel and it works for you, not sure what's wrong in my case

Does Semflow take the place of something like Semrush or ahrefs?

Currently it does not offer all of the features of those full suite tools. But you can use semflow for all on-page seo and then find other cheaper/free options for keyword research! (Until we add keyword features 😉)
