I had a 4708 Massey and the motor blew at 20hrs. The crankshaft broke in two. I have a 5090e JD now and I love it. Makes a big difference going from a 3cyl to a 4cyl

That should be an easy fix buddy. May be just something that is stocked causing it to go all the way up/down

Single digits and cold hydraulic fluid makes the valves hang. On another note a blue tractor would make up for the gm dunp truck 🤢

I didn’t have anywhere near the trouble with mine that you have had with yours, but from watching you I was convinced that it was only a matter of time - so I sold it. I know they’re not free, but you could use a set of 6” Edge Tamers on your bucket.

Poor hot water on the linkage it either got snow or moisture in it then froze causing it to bind up. I have had all 3 issues you described here…the hydraulic/transmission issues are your linkage needing adjusted cleaned /thawed out. And the fuel issue was definitely gelling. Doesn’t sound like your dealer is worth a dam to be sure…best wishes with the other brand you go with. 1 pitcher of hot water on the linkage typically does it if this is the problem. Curious what hydraulic fluid you’re using and its rating. Could actually be this instead of the moisture in your linkage which is why after you ran it for a few minutes and warmed that fluid up it started to work. Do you use oem filters and fluid. These seem to be lack of a good dealer issues so unless you can find a better kubota dealer you’ll definitely have to change brands. Can’t speak to the first time you had transmission issues but if it was cold weather and similar to what you described probably never had anything wrong with it to begin with and is simply linkage related. Either way best wishes…that mini ex 57 sounds awesome but not if you have a crap dealer. Best wishes. As for the leaking fittings some thread tape would be more than sufficient to solve that assuming they are even the correct threading and size.

I’ve got a great dealer I can walk in and they know me by name and I know them but this tractor itself has just been an absolute nightmare since I bought it. I hate the thought of losing a good dealer especially one that has service trucks and has been willing to give me a loaner when mine was down but this tractor in particular has just pissed me off beyond belief

Valves can freeze on any brand, how long did you let it warm up.

Question. Is all of your equipment sit outside? I see a hay baler, a bush hog sitting outside. Gear oil is 80Wor 90W. The engine oil is 15W-40. Cold n single digits do not go well with motor oil and gear oil.
@tlcbushhogging
@tlcbushhogging 8 ай бұрын
It stays in a shed along with my batwing. The baler is just a parts machine and the 7ft I use maybe 3-4 times a year I don’t have room for it anywhere else

@@tlcbushhogging I was just asking because the round bailer and bush hog were clearly visible in the video sitting outside. Where you pulled into in your video. That is an open lean to building, not a shed. With that open lean to is just like leaving it sitting out in the cold temperatures. No insulation or doors closed on it. That is causing your problems with the hydraulics and other issues. I know quite a few people that own Kubato and love them.

You love that tractor , that is why you get mad t it. All machines brake or create problems . I wrote this before watching the video thru , sorry you are having so many problems. The 12 speeds had problems I won't buy a 12 speed .

Dang man, I hate that for you. I have the same model and year and now I'm scared of it. I've owned a 65 hp New Holland and a 75 hp John Deere. New Holland makes a great tractor.

I’m going to contact my local Massey Ferguson dealer and see what I can work with them. My case dealer hasn’t responded to me in almost 3 months about just a simple quote

maybe it's just coldblooded. Made in Japan right, what do they know about winter ? After you used it a bit it seemed to be normal. I'm surprised you don't have a grapple like a "stinger" (my favorite) to snake logs, down little trees etc out of your way when brush hogging. Proving your front is a quick change kinda thing like a skidsteer. On the flip-side, they are a bit pricey aren't they? Most of my tractors are as old as me (65) a little clunky on the hydraulics, but so am I. So we get along ok. :)

Between a grapple and adding the 3rd function it’s almost $7000 and I can’t justify that

@@tlcbushhogging I got ya. I can't on my on ford, same issue. to much would have to be changed. Well if you do get a new tractor that might be something to consider getting one with that already on it. If I ever get a newer one that's what I'm going to do. There is another fella I watched yrs ago that got a new kubota tractor and had a hydraulic/transmission leak in the rear from the start. Their skidsteer's seem better quality. good luck to ya and great videos , thanks

Go get a kioti RX7320 and be done with it. I have had 3. I trade them in at 1700-2000 hours and they have been fantastic. I trade them for tax purposes not because they give me problems. I run the same rc2512 cutter as you.

I have been told they are good tractors I’m just not a fan of the control layout and I don’t have the best kioti dealer near me I can talk to two different salesman in the same day with exactly the same build sheet and get two completely different quotes

Not sure your area, but I bought my equipment from Larry Stovesand Equipment in Tennessee. Mike Shramke is the owner and nobody can beat his service or his price. I'm about 2 hours from the dealership and if I need anything they overnight me whatever I need. I do commercial maintenance and rite of way maintenance so we tax these kioti tractors pretty hard. I've been very pleased with them. It's worth giving him a call and at least get his price.
