Nahhhh Dazai wouldn't be like pouring his eyes out, neither would atsushi, but they wouldn't either just be heartless. Dazai would probably go look at Akutagawa's grave and pat it, like saying "good job". Atsushi would care a bit more since it was his partner, but Dazai didn't use Akutagawa for entertainment. That monster Dazai still has feelings.

While everyone in comments is going on about how dazai’s characters accurate I don’t (personally just my opinion no hate) think it’s all that canon since in the novel it is clear that dazai cares for aku, it’s just that aku was a mindless killing machine and to change that dazai had to use some roughy methods(I’m not saying that abusing someone is ok in the name of training! Pls don’t misunderstand)
