The last ever recording of classic BBC Radio panel show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue to feature legendary host Humphrey Lyttleton, aired December 2007. And yes, I know I misspelled his name on the video! Sorry, Humph...

I was fortunate to be in the audience of this shows recording. I had no idea it was Humph's last ever show 😢

I do believe that despite all the wonderful fantastic people that are no longer with us, Tim, Barry, Humph, Linda, Jeremy, Graeme and others, this remains a beacon of fun and happiness in a troubled world and I think Jack Dee does a wonderful job as chair with of course Sven and Samantha on his hands!

Graeme is still with us although he's not been on the show for a while.

And don't worry, I know that you meant to mention the man without whom the show would score no hits at all. I refer to the production's key plonker, the bloke who fires up the laser display board. Oh and mæstro Colin ought to get a nod I s'pose.

Such beautifully, brilliantly and cleverly written and improvised comedy. In the same sort of vein as the two Ronnie’s. Very very clever comedy. This is quintessential British humour at its absolute best.

I remember an account of Samantha's latest boyfriend in which he was said to be 'elderly, and rather mean, but Samantha says if she butters him up in the right way he still splashes out occasionally'. The audience laughed for 33 seconds!

Some of the best laughs I’ve ever had were listening to ISIHAC, back in the day. Samantha, Lionel Blair, Uxbridge English Dictionary, and many more. I miss the people who made it so good.

I had the same thought. I had the immense pleasure and privilege of meeting and working with Barry Cryer a year or so before he died. He was kind, self-deprecating and of course, heart-stoppingly funny. I hear that Willie R, Humph and Tim BT were equally brilliant. This is still the funniest show on the radio. Anywhere.

Love this episode, how times have changed. No fat jokes, no mother in law jokes, no fun. I try to end my day with an episode from ISIHAC.

Jack Dee will never be Humph end of. But he's a great carrier and does a good job at filling the role but that spark isn't the same without Humph

@@davidhull1481 They do have a point and I'd suggest that it's not bellyaching whatever that may mean. Times move along as is right and unstoppable, but there's a huge Lyttleton sized hole which no amount of dour jibes from Dee can, or should be expected to, fill. Humph's throw caution to the wind schoolboy humour is unbeatable and his timing and mellifluous delivery sans pareil.
