I feel like the silence in the crowd when Punk mentioned the brawl was due partly to the joke going over ppls heads for a second and actual shock that he went there. WWE fans may not watch AEW, but I'm sure more ppl know MJF than you may think. If they introduce him properly and make him do some ultra heel shit (I was thinking make him beat Roman for the title on his first night but the timing is off now), he'll make a huge impact and he can work to maintain that buzz from there.

2 things on the video. One, Seth Rollins should be considered one of the greats in WWE, maybe top 30 or 40 I can see. With the crowds in WWE now, number one, not much drama in WWE thanks to Triple H in charge and all talent respect The Game. Now when it comes to the crowds, it''s now a casual crowd and more it's more entertainment than expected years ago which is what they want to aim for and is successful. All the hardcore fans have more interest in AEW the last few years for giving the hardcore fans what they really wants. The feuds, the blood matches, the profanity, and the ex WWE stars getting more control for their characters, to be honest. It shows because the hardcore fan demographic is not much in comparison to the average WWE fan or casual watcher of WWE who have no knowledge of the product, hence why attendance and ratings are struggling with AEW. With WWE they have the library of the past that helps them greatly in getting the casual fan on board if they want to go back to their childhood. The history and success of WWE in their business plan and what can make the most money, whether it be old archives, streaming deals, TV deals, sponsorship, etc. they want to grow from a brand to basically an Entity if it makes sense, why would aew want to compete? Don't compare just accommodate the hardcore fan and be successful on your own path if I was Tony Khan, simple as that.

A part of me doesn’t want to see CM punk main event Mania this year. Business side it makes the most sense for him and Seth to go Night 1. Story wise a part of me wants to hold off on him getting that main event, that ONE feather in his cap he never got, that one chip on his shoulder he’s had for 12 years until it’s time for him to ride off into the sunset and have Punk’s last match be the main event when he’s ready to wrap up his career. The thing is, right now people see the WHC as not even a tertiary title. I disagree, but if you want to completely kill that narrative, having Punk and Rollins main event night one, or even night two, for the belt is how you do it.
