I am presently on a Istanbul roof terrace watching your reaction. Tonight I'll attend Dimash's birthday concert. This will be my 4th Dimash concert. All I can tell you is that Dimash is even more incredible live live on stage. I can only advice everybody to go for that Dimash live experience. He is absolutely unique, his skills are unpaired. Georgia Brown hit the G10 for less than one second while sliding up to it in a controlled environment, meaning not in a live concert. I wonder if she can hit it in tune without sliding up to it. Dimash hit a spot on C/C#8 out of thin air (didn't slide up to it), held it for 2 seconds and then slid up to a D8, held it for 5 seconds with vibrato all while being in tune. He's not human.

This ended in a D8! Dimash was young here, I believe this was about 5 or 6 years ago. I’ve been a fan since 2017 when he was on the Chinese competition “I am Singer” or “Singer” where already established & famous Chinese musicians compete against each other and the live audience votes each week. Dimash was the first foreigner to ever compete & he was brought in as a wildcard with most thinking that he wouldn’t survive elimination long but instead on the first night Dimash was the first to perform and he blew everyone’s mind and became a star in China overnight & won that week. He ended up coming in 2nd in the overall competition, some say because the Chinese just couldn’t let a foreigner win but I don’t believe that’s true bc the next year Jessie J won. However, this competition jump started his international career and he deserves all the awards and accolades he’s accomplished thus far. He’s about to be Dr. Kudaibergen with his doctorate in Musicology. There is no other artist in the world that I’ve ever heard that compares to him and his gift. Btw, Dimash’s vocal cords are said to be longer than average but the fact is, he has put in over 25yrs of blood, sweat & tears to perfect his range from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs and everything in between. When I see old videos like this I think about how much better he is now & back then I didn’t think he or anyone for that matter (in my opinion) could get any better but he just continues to mature & perfect what mere mortals already consider perfection. Best of all is Dimash the man. He is truly the most humble, kind, loving and caring human being who not only talks the talk but walks the walk. I truly love and respect him immensely. He wears a shirt that says 100% Human as a response to the millions of people who have said “he’s not human” 😂 I assume a fan(Dear) gave it to him and I love it. Dimash wrote this when he was 19. FYI - the D8 was not planned. He went for the G#7 and nothing came out, so he went for the D8 and history was made. Please react to more of his music. He sings in almost all genres, has a 7.7 octave range, plays 8 instruments and has songs in 16 languages. He has fan clubs in 150 countries and is a humble, spiritual and charitable man. His catalog is vast and varied. Anything you choose next will be amazing.

The highest note on the piano is at 4186 Hz. The D8 is 4699 Hz. I think what we couldn't hear before the D8 may have been too high for the sound system high-frequency filter. Those thresholds are usually set or floating not far above the D8. The Georgia Brown demo reached an A7♭ at 3400 Hz. The claimed G10 would be pointless even if capable live without sound system limits. It's 5 KHz higher than the human hearing limit. I suppose singing to the dogs is useful for something.

Ok, controversy on Dimash's top note (that we know of to date). D8 at Gakku is what we have been exposed to so far. Dimash is very cagy about his range. We don't know his top or bottom range. He has only let us know very gradually. 😂 But note that no one has yet sung their highest whistle note live in front of 150,000 people like Dimash. And note the duration of the D8 with vibrato. Who has done this? So far no one.

Dimash's D8 might not be the highest in the world, but it is still pleasant to hear, in comparison to some higher notes of other singers. I have heard higher notes than that and those were not pleasant to an ear if that's make sense. Also regarding "cheesy" comment, i would like to assure you that Dimash is very authentic and sincere in all his performances and i have seen a faire few. Hi! I've been following Dimash for 6 years. He wrote this song when he was 19 years old. Upon first hearing Dimash, most people ask "how", which is the wrong question. If you ask "who", the "how" becomes known. Who is Dimash? I, and a few others, call him the singer of the millennia because the range of musical genres, and his vocal range, 7.7 octaves, are like no other. From Kazakhstan, beginning his singing career at age 5 (he's 29 now, 2023), Dimash was accepted into the most distinguished music academy in his country. The world became aware of him in 2017 (when he was 22), during and after a Chinese singing contest called "Singer". His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. Dears (those he calls his fans) traveled from 68 different countries, 43 states & 2 US territories, and was sold out. Now writing his Doctoral thesis for a PhD in Musicology/ Composing, received all his degrees with honors while simultaneously filling arenas and maintaining his performing career, a first! He has a bachelors degree in vocals, a master's degree in composition and is about to complete his PhD in musicology this year (2023). Thank you. Dimash has said that he did the D8 on the spur of the moment, not planned. :D He never did that again in this song that I know of. He had done other whistles in other songs but this is the highest. He is amazing. And he has had problems with rhinitis and deviated septum and still performs on the highest levels. You should listen to his vocals in 'The Story of One Sky' you will be amazed at the diversity of styles and vocal mastery coming from him in one song.

I actually put his D8 on a frequency meter and Dimash actually hit a frequency of 4702 Hz which is basically spot on and perfectly in tune for a D8

I’ve been following Dimash since 2018 and he has done a lot of whistle notes. They are lower than this D8 but you would believe it if you heard all the others notes and this wasn’t planned.

I read that Dimash was going for a G6 but somehow nothing came out (you can see a really brief pause) then the D8 emerged.
