@@jeannekesavelkouls2547 oh, to be able to discover this music anew. But I don't complain - having listened to all Jeff's songs countless times since I first heard Time in 1981, I know each little detail by heart, I almost don't need it to be playing to hear it, it's locked inside my head forever. I wonder if Mr. Lynne reads these comments, and hope he does. This unplugged set is a work of art. Sometimes great songs shine best when stripped down to a few basic instruments, and I feel this is the case with songs like this one and Telephone Line. I never appreciated them as much before I heard these versions, the chord changes etc.... I am happy I discovered these, I listen to them every day.

Richard Tandy is a very important member of ELO. We owe him a debt of gratitude for convincing Jeff Lynne that he was still important and that all of us wanted to hear him (and Richard) still. Fortunately for all of us, Jeff is back 'at work'. Sorry Richard's health has kept him from being part of the new resurgence of ELO. These private acoustic sessions are great.

The Beatles and Electric Light Orchestra are my 2 favorite bands ever but It took 4 Beatles and George Martin to accomplish what Jeff Lynne has done musically all by himself. Of course, by popularity, and commercially, The Beatles are no 1 but musically Jeff Lynne rules. As a huge Beatles fan, I have to admit Jeff Lynne is so much better with Harmonies, Orchestration, as an incredible Producer, singer and songwriter. Lynne produced the Beatles last project and also produced George, Ringo and Paul individually for some of their best albums, Long live Jeff Lynne's ELO!!! Please Tour in 2024!

This unplugged home concert is legendary. A perfect symbiosis with Richard. Maybe it was an initial ignition to come back on big stages the first time after 1986 (Hyde Park 2014). A brave but consistently decision. He still has a great voice. The success has proved him right. He sounds almost as good as in the seventies. A real but soooo underated musical genius. God bless you Jeff!

This has been probably my favourite ELO song of all. As some others have said, singing with just guitar & piano is the test of a good song or not. These recordings confirm how many great songs Jeff has composed that will forever stand the test of time. And his sublime voice is what elevates them to the supreme.
