Take your time. When the time is right, open the gate to let them in. Don’t shut the world out due to heart break. It’s not a fun way to go about life. Don’t just let anyone in but give that one that comes around a chance. You may never regret it.

I really enjoyed this. I'm getting older and yearning for an actual relationship since my late-husband passed away a few years ago. But I'm beginning to think that guys like me, in their 50s, will never get the chance to settle again. The gay world is not a pleasant one to it's own aging gay men. It's sad.
